One of my favorite things to do is “blog research,” and every day my morning routine consists of sipping yummy coffee in bed while perusing all my favorite websites. This includes Pinterest, which is where I see what’s new and trending, and where I find the latest street style inspo to share with you all. The other day, I was scouring on my iPad and noticed a new sneaker drop on the Net-A-Porter website. I immediately starting finding new styles that caught my eye and couldn’t wait to write this post!
Sneakers are still the hottest shoe trend everyone will be wearing throughout 2025!
Today’s post is about all the cool sneakers worth adding to your collection. I don’t usually say this, but when it comes to sneakers, I think we can all have several pairs in our closets. And, they don’t have to be expensive; there are several reasonably priced options, and many different styles — everything from classic white to retro to designer favorites. Keep reading to see the sneakers every fashion girl is wearing, and of course, how to style them.

What are the hottest brands?
Adidas, New Balance, Miu Miu, Puma, Aloha and Veja to name just a few. Interestingly, on several visits to Selfridge’s in London, the Golden Goose shop was completely dead. Not one single person was there, except the bored salesperson. I’m not ditching my GGs any time soon, but I did make a mental note 🤔
#1 Suede Sneakers

Right now, everyone is talking about suede sneakers, which comes as no surprise since suede everything is trending! Inspired by Miu Miu, Puma and other brands, suede sneakers are definitely having a moment. See below for some favorites.
#2 Classic White

It’s always a good idea to add a clean white sneaker into your lineup. They’re easy to style, and you’ll wear them all the time, with everything. This new Chloe caught my eye, along with this Tory Burch. For sportier styles that work with the tennis core trend, look at these by ON which I own and love! Finally, for an affordable classic white sneaker, this Sam Edelman one is super comfortable and looks designer.
#3 Retro Sneaker Trend

Cool girl brands like Miu Miu, Puma and Loewe are showing slim and narrow silhouette sneakers on their spring lineups. I’ve seen them in different color options, and think they’re a fun update. For example, look at these at J.Crew. Give them a try with dresses or flowy trousers for an of-the-moment look.
#4 French Girl Classics

People all over the world are sporting Vejas — both men and women! This popular French brand is affordable, and it’s also sustainable. In fact, almost every chic French girl wears them. I love my V-10s and often bring them on trips. Other styles you might like include the new Volley as well as the ones below. Don’t wait on these, because the fun colors go quickly!
#5 Designer sneakers

I do love a good designer sneaker, and between Loro Piana, ones by Prada, and this newest Chloe, you can’t go wrong! If you prefer an affordable version, Dolce Vita and Sam Edelman are two brands that always have designer-inspired versions.
#6 Adidas Favorites

The Adidas table was where all the action was in Selfridges when I visited a couple of months ago. They’re still one of the hottest brands and considered THE shoe to own! They can be a little hard to find, so grab them when you see them.
Bonus: How to Care for Your Sneakers
You want to keep your sneakers looking fresh and clean, especially white ones. I recommend spraying them when you pull them out of the box, using Scotchgard Suede & Nubuck Protector for example. This will help protect them from getting dirty from rain, mud and stains. Also, they will last longer if they’re sprayed. If they do get stained, you can always spot clean them — don’t run them through the washer! That will ruin their structure … it’s not worth it. My friend uses dishwashing liquid and a toothbrush, and swears it works!
If you don’t want to clean them yourself, consider sending them to a specialist cleaner. And, if you have loose stitching or the heel becomes unattached, take care of it immediately — unless they were at the end of their lifespan, then replace them.
When you’re not wearing your sneakers, be sure to store them properly. Keep them away from moisture and light — ideally in a sealed box. But don’t worry if your fave white sneakers lose their brightness! They’re meant to be worn, and it’s ok if they’re not perfect 😌
