When it comes to building a beautiful wardrobe, a collection of accessories is a category that’s often overlooked. And yet, it’s so so important! Consider it the finishing touch of all your outfits. Beautiful bags and scarves you love will elevate every outfit, and it’s an area I think is worth the investment. One very important thing …. is that you have little groupings that work together. For example a caramel bag is something I highly recommend, and then having a belt, or a shoe and scarf that tie in together will give you outfit combinations for days.

A beautiful scarf (or two) is a purchase you’ll never regret. Not only are they practical this time of year, but they really are the final piece of every winter outfit. Whether you love a silky scarf or classic cashmere, investing in a few scarves is worth every penny. Try different patterns, materials and lengths. See below for some options I’ve spotted recently.
Silk scarves – I picked up this Dior scarf in NYC recently, also love this Gucci one, this Ferragamo one, and this printed Nordstrom one. Check out Tuckernuck and Mango for budget-friendly scarf options.
Cashmere/wool scarves – hands down this one is my favorite, and make sure to look at the brown color. Also love this cashmere one, this triangle one and this pink one by Vince.

Belts are definitely trending, so let’s add them back into our wardrobes! Look for ones with studs or cool hardware, or just a classic style. Some ideas are below.

Lately, all the cool girls are wearing bold earrings in either gold or silver (which is making a comeback). Often I’ll see a beautiful watch or statement bracelet, and that’s it! Simple and elegant. Jewelry brands to look at include Heaven Mayhem, Lili Claspe, Mejuri and Jenny Bird.

Hat and glove sets are popular right now, and I can see why. These are fun accessories to play around with! And, they can really elevate your outfit — think of all-black with a camel hat and gloves — or they can just be for warmth. Either way, pick up a couple of sets to have on hand for when you’re walking out the door. From leather to cashmere to shearling, you can’t go wrong here. Below are my faves!

Handbags can make or break an outfit, and when we’re running around town, they’re one of the first things people notice! I’m not suggesting you need a designer bag, but finding a great bag (or two … or three) that’s versatile and up to date will level up all your outfits.
Bonus: Eyewear
The other evening, I picked up my daughter Emily for a little shopping night, and she was wearing super cute new glasses. Optical ones, not sunnies! Then she proceeded to give me the scoop on how Miu Miu eyewear is all over TikTok. This is an interesting trend for sure. I found this Celine pair to add to my basket, and now I’m trying to up my reader game. When it comes to eyewear, both glamorous sunglasses or cool readers/optical glasses are a fun accessory that adds a little extra to our look.
