Absolute Fashion Favorites I Highly Recommend for Spring 2025

Here are my top 30 faves!

This weekend, I spent several hours in my closet cleaning, organizing, and getting ready for spring. I know, I know, it’s still winter. But, in the fashion world, it’s a new season and it’s time to start planning our spring outfits! Since I’m heading to sunny Palm Beach in a couple of weeks, I went through some of my favorites that have been packed away for the last five months. I was reminded how good they are, and that’s what inspired today’s post.

I’ve said this before, but writing this fun little blog is truly a career highlight … and honestly, a bit of a surprise! What started as a place to share style inspo with my friends and clients quickly grew into something much bigger. And, I’m loving every single minute of it! THANK YOU for following along and for giving me the chance to share what I know. I appreciate you 🥂

Today’s post shares my highest recommendations that I’ve personally tried, and can guarantee how good they are. I follow my “authenticity promise” whenever I write here on So Susie, and I’m very very careful about what I feature on the blog. These faves are a bit of a mix — everything from the perfect pair of scissors (yes everyone needs them) to the only button up shirt I think is worth buying to a newer brand I just discovered. Grab a cup of tea, this post is a little long, but I hope it’s helpful! 😊

Nordstrom Monthly Drop: 6 Pieces You Need Now

The Hottest Outfit Trend Seen Everywhere In NYC

The Dress Brand Everyone Loves

Left: Favorite Daughter pink tee | L’Agence denim skirt | Slingbacks | Right: Tuckernuck caftan | Gold sandals | Lady Dior bag

#1 – Tuckernuck dresses They really are that good! I’m talking about the brands Hyacinth House, Pomander Place and Tuckernuck — all of which are exclusive to Tuckernuck. They’re well-priced (most are between $198-$298) and there is a style for everyone. Some current favorites include this caftan, this yellow one, this white lace one and this knit one.

#2 – L’Agence denim skirt I haven’t been so excited about a denim skirt until this one came around! It quickly sold out, and now it’s back in three colors, including white. It’s the perfect length, super soft, and you’ll wear it with everything from sneakers to sandals to heels.

#3 – The denim shirt dress that’s super versatile – I can’t say enough good things about this dress. I take it on every warm-weather vacation, and wear it all season, whether I’m running errands or just hanging out at home. If you prefer a longer midi-style one, look at this brand new pink linen one. Both can be worn with casual sandals and a straw bag. You’ll feel comfy and so put together!

Jeans are one of the most important topics here at So Susie

Left: Veronica Beard blazer | Frame Le Slim Palazzo | Tote | Right: Rag & Bone jacket | Frame stripe top | Frame Ruler jeans

#4 – Petite jeans – Talk about a game changer if you’re 5’4″ and under. The knee placement is higher, and the rise and inseam are shorter, so everything fits where it should. Some favorites I’ve tried include: Mother Hustler Roller, Mother Hustler, Frame Le Pixie Reboot, Frame Le Slim Palazzo and Paige Anessa. I highly recommend all of these.

#5 – The super stylish Frame jean everyone is wearing. Wide-leg jeans are the “it” jean to own right now, and this is the one that everyone is loving. Sometimes wide-leg jeans can be a little tricky to wear, but these aren’t too wide. They’re flattering through the hip/bottom area, and are also available in petite sizing here. I’ve talked about them for the last year, and they’re still one of my absolute highest recommendations.

#6 New favorites – I try A LOT of denim, and new styles always surface. For example, the AGOLDE Harper is a recent discovery, same with the Frame Ruler, and the Frame Reboot, which comes cropped or regular length.

#7 Everyone loves the Mother Hustler! If you want a comfortable, super flattering jean, this is the one to consider. They fit everyone, including those of us who are 5’4″ and under, thanks to petite sizing. And, they look great with every kind of shoe, from sneakers to higher heels to winter boots.

#8 – Gingher scissors – I’ve included these in the denim section, since they’re total game changers if you plan to DIY hem your jeans. I don’t know how I dealt with dull scissors my whole life — I’m so glad these came along! And, they’re only $31. So run and get them, you’ll thank me later 😉

Vacation Essentials

Left: Spanx crew and matching pant | Naghedi tote | Sandals | Right: Beis Weekender | Mother denim, similar | Sandals

#9 – The linen matching shirt and short set you’ll wear over and over. This fun set by Vitamin A is perfect for warm weather vacations. You can wear it to the pool or beach as well as shopping and just hanging out. I purchased this leopard set top & bottom for Mexico, and now have my eye on this pretty pink one. The fun prints sell quickly, so don’t wait too long.

#10 – The tech item that brings so much happiness. Sounds a little over the top, but I always bring a travel speaker on every trip. When I was in Dallas alone, it was nice to listen to my music while getting ready!

#11 – The TikTok viral sweatpant jean – I know this sounds crazy, but the Miramar collection at Rag & Bone has the best-selling “jeans” around, and everyone is talking about them. They’re super comfy and run roomy, but once you find your size, you’ll likely go back for a second pair … they’re that good.

#12 – The #1 must-have travel bag – If you’re traveling anytime soon, this bag is a must-have. It is the perfect size, holds everything you need, and has a “trolley pass-through” that fits over your luggage handle — talk about convenient! Oh, and the price is really good too. I take this on all my trips.

#13 Travel sets that are perfect for any destination – These 100% super comfy cotton travel sets are amazing, and I tested this one on a long flight to Europe. Not only will you feel comfortable, but you’ll also look put together on arrival. And, they aren’t just for travel — try them on weekends or when lounging at home.

Luxurious Items

Left: Silk robe | Right: Baies candle | Gigi Clozeau necklace

#14 – The luxurious silk robe under $200 – There’s nothing better than feeling a little extra in the morning when getting ready for your day. A silk robe will do that, and this washable one is hands down a favorite. I also bring it on every trip

#15 – The softest pajamas you’ll ever own. I recently tried this pretty blue pj set from the brand Eberjay, and I now know why everyone talks about them. They’re so so soft, and also really comfortable. Give these a try, you’ll be happy you did.

#16 – The necklace you’ll never take off – splurge version. Adding a diamond necklace to your stack will take everything to the next level! It layers with every piece of jewelry you already have, and it’s pretty and sparkly. I’ve worn mine for two years straight, and I sleep and shower with it. You can use this code: SOSUSIE_15 for 15% off

#17 – The necklace you’ll never take off — affordable version. This pretty little white beaded necklace on a sparkly chain is another one I’ve worn for years. I just brought it back out again, and I’m currently wearing with the diamond layer above along with a green heart necklace.

#18 – The fragrance you’ll get complimented on all day long! – It’s hard to imagine a fragrance that everyone loves, but believe it or not, there is such a thing. I first discovered this perfume several years ago, and immediately fell in love. It’s a little sexy, perfect for every day, and it smells sooo good! I can’t tell you the number of times people have stopped me to ask what it is. With a floral, woody aroma, this French-made best-seller is sophisticated but subtle. You’ll love it, trust me.

#19 – This bra actually works magic. If you’re looking for a bra that works a little magic, this is the one. A while back, a dear friend sheepishly asked if I had gotten a boob job 😂 No, I didn’t, but this bra makes you look like you did. It gives you an amazing lift, it’s pretty and comfortable, and I highly recommend it.

And clothes … of course!

Left: Cinq a Sept Holly jacket | Rag & Bone Peyton jeans, similar | Clare V. bag | Right: Quince $50 sweater | Quince slipdress

#20 – J.Crew linen pants – This was probably the number one most-worn item from last summer, and talk about comfortable! They’ve just come back in stock, and I’d grab these before everyone else does. They’re perfect for vacation — and it’s ok if they look a little lived in.

#21 – $50 cashmere sweater – At first, I was a little skeptical about a $50 cashmere sweater. I thought to myself … there’s no way it could be good! Then I tried it, and wow have I been impressed. Believe it or not, I take this sweater on every single trip, no matter what time of year it is. It’s ideal for the airplane, and it comes in handy if you need an extra layer.

#22 – Sezanne cardigan – Known as the Gaspard cardigan and probably the best-selling item at Sezanne, this pretty little cardi can be worn with the buttons in the front or back. I have only worn mine over my shoulders, but I still get many compliments. Now I’m eyeing this new butter yellow color.

#23 – TWP shirt – This is what I call the cool girl shirt! The fun sleeve detail is what makes these simple shirts stand out. They’re a big splurge, but a piece you’ll have for years to come.

#24 – The only button up shirt you’ll ever need Hands down, this is the best white shirt and I’ve been recommending this one for years. It’s thin, loose and perfect for warm weather climates. The quality is made of top quality Italian fabric, and it’s really lightweight. Basically it’s perfect for layering or tying over a dress, wearing open like a jacket or just tucking in. I can’t say enough good things about this wardrobe staple. It’s incredibly versatile, and everyone should try one 😌

#25 – The prettiest summer jacket that’s super versatile – When the weather warms up, having a summer weight “third piece” is a key wardrobe staple everyone should own. This jacket comes in several colors, the fabric has a lovely shine, and seriously everyone I know who owns it absolutely loves it. It often sells out, so grab it quick.

#26 – Veronica Beard blazer – If you’re looking for a blazer that’s stylish and chic, can be worn all year long with jeans, the matching pant, over dresses, with a skirt – then this is the one to consider. I’m not alone, it’s a number one “readers favorite” too.

 Bags & Shoes

#27 – The #1 most-worn shoe in my closet. If you’re looking for a shoe that goes with every single outfit you have, this is it! I’ve recommended this sandal over and over again, and everyone loves it. The heel height is perfect, they work with everything from denim to dresses, and they’re really comfortable. I wear mine all the time. These keep selling out, but as of today, they’re in stock. Don’t wait on these, grab a pair and you’ll wear them all summer long.

#28 Hermes sandals – This is the #1 most-worn sandal in my closet. It’s a splurge, but they’re super versatile, and they work with everything from jeans to dresses to skirts. I highly recommend them, you’ll wear them all summer long.

#29 – Havaianas – If you’re looking for a casual sandal that you’ll wear to the beach, pool, and around the house, this rubber flip flop is ideal. I had been eyeing the black ones with the gold logo, and found them while on vacation in Italy. They’re comfy too.

#30 – Goyard tote – This cute little tote is another splurge, but worth every penny! I went with the smaller size, and it’s just perfect. It packs well, it’s durable, and surprisingly, the green color goes with everything. If you’d prefer an affordable version, look at these Sam Edelmans.
