It’s that time of year! We are all thinking of home, family and feeling cozy. There’s a new term for this growing trend called the “Hygge Effect.” The word “hygge” refers to the lifestyle craze from Denmark that is spreading rapidly all over the world. It’s the concept of feeling comfortable and content, as well as enjoying all the wonderful people and good things in your life.

Well, after braving the traffic and the crowds, gift buying, decorating and entertaining, nothing feels better than coming home, slipping into the comfiest loungewear, and relaxing with a nice glass of wine or a cup of tea 🙂

Which of course leads me to … what is “cozy loungewear?”  We all have different ideas of what that looks like.  Some people love luxurious silk pjs and cashmere robes, while others choose cotton lounge pants, a comfy tee and a long, warm sweater to throw over it all (that’s me).
