Sequined skirts are festive, shiny and fun. I literally get compliments EVERY time I wear mine. They are typically thought of for a party or a night out, and that is one way to wear your sequined skirt for sure. Ā But throw those rules aside and wear your skirt during the day! Ā For that matter, any sequined item of clothing can be worn during the day. Ā It just requires a little styling switch-up, and I’ll show how to do that.
This season there are a handful of sequined skirts to consider, including mine above, which happens to be only $89.00! Ā Here are three ways to style a sequined skirt.
Ā GRAPHIC TEE WITH YOUR FAVORITE JACKET
At this point, we all have a graphic tee or two, or three ā¦ and we all likely have a leather jacket (I just purchased this AllSaints, see my post here) and booties, so adding a sequined skirt to this combo is easy. One step and you’re cool and stylish!
Chunky sweaters
Any sweater works perfectly with a sequined skirt, fromĀ a pretty shade of pink to a bright green to a simple cream turtleneck — even basic black. It takes the skirt to create the perfect mix of casual and elegant, and you’ll have an outfit that is perfect for day or night.
Silky blouses and camis
Anything from a silk cami (with leather jacket, of course!) to a sleek blouseĀ works perfectly to pair with your sequined skirt. Ā I recently wore this J.Crew and I also have my eye on this LāAgence cami.
