These are the tried and true beauty favorites I recommend to all my friends
Like most of you, I’m always on a mission to look and feel my best — every single day. I’m no makeup artist, but after doing my own makeup every day since high school, I’ve learned a thing or two about what actually works. And let’s just say, some of these have become favorite little luxuries that make every single day feel a little more beautiful.
Every single product on this list is something I’ve truly fallen in love with. For some of these, like the dermaplane tool it took me a little while to try it. But, once I did, it completely won me over! From my favorite summer fragrances to the brand-new skincare I just discovered, these are the items I’m telling all my friends to run and get. I hope you discover a few new favorites here that bring a little “simple luxury” and joy to your daily routine. #1 – Thermabody Depuffing Wand & Tata Harper Brightening Eye Gel – Recently, I went to a wine dinner, and I was not thinking about my golf club presentation the next day. Then I got a little worried, so I rushed out and bought this wand after seeing it on Instagram. I don’t use a lot of beauty tools, but this one instantly became part of my daily beauty routine. It feels good, and it works. I also love Allure “Best of Beauty” award winning products — they’re always spot on.
#2 – SLIP Silk Pillowcase – I swear by a silk pillowcase, both for hair and skin. You’ll get a good night’s sleep since it naturally regulates your temperature. Plus, it feels luxurious. I’ve tried cheaper ones, but this is the one I recommend. Also this brand new blue stripe with green trim!
#3 – Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Powder – A makeup artist once told me this is like an “Instagram Filter” for your face. I’ve been using this for years, and I always think of him. He’s right, and I’ll never use anything else!
#4 – Amazon Travel Bag – This is the best travel bag, and it’s under $20. I had been using a larger one, but this size holds everything you’d ever need, though it’s compact. I take it on every single trip.
#5 – Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation & Illuminating Primer – I consider this the holy grail of foundations. I always get compliments on my skin, and I swear it’s this foundation! It’s lightweight, looks natural, and provides good coverage. Make sure to use the primer too. It gives you a smooth finish, and you’ll feel pretty and glowy 🌸

#6 – Victoria Beckham Portofino Fragrance – This is the perfect sexy summer fragrance, and I always get compliments on it. Try the body oil for fragrance layering to help it last longer, and you’ll get a nice glimmer as well.
#7 – Dermaflash Dermaplaning Tool – Everyone is shaving their face, and now I know why! This tool removes unwanted hair, and leaves your skin smoother and brighter. Plus, your makeup goes on better, and your face will be glowing. Highly recommend.
#8 – New Lip Combo – I’ve been using the same lip color for years, and recently decided it was time to try something a little brighter. So, I landed on This Charlotte Tilbury lip liner, and combined it with Gracefully Pink lipstick. It’s pretty, and it’s a nice change from Kidman’s Kiss.
#9 – Kiehls Creme de Corps – Who knew a simple body lotion could work magic? This is the only one I use because it truly makes your skin glisten — almost like you applied self tanner. Trust me on this one! It’s amazing.
#10 – Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm – Treat yourself — During the early days of the pandemic, I discovered the Colleen Rothschild cleansing balm. I’ve given it as gifts to all my friends and family, and still use it regularly. It’s quite luxurious, and your skin will feel smooth and nourished. And, it smells good too.
A couple extras … it’s hard narrowing it down
#11 – Burts Bees chapstick – I literally have one in every corner of the house – and so does Emily! It’s all natural, minty, and it’s one of those things I can’t imagine life without!
