15 Little Finds That Make a Big Difference
Welcome to this week’s Amazon Edit: 15 Little Finds That Make a Big Difference! After 25+ years as a Nordstrom Buyer and Personal Stylist, I’ve learned that looking put together usually comes down to the little things, like steamed clothing, sparkling jewelry, great undergarments and a few beauty tricks. None of it is groundbreaking … but it all really adds up.
The big Amazon sale is happening right now … so, I went through my favorites and pulled together the items I personally use that make you look (and feel!) better. Some are stylist tricks I’ve relied on for years, some are beauty staples, and a few are the not-so-glamorous things that really do make a difference 😉 You all know I’m picky, so when I find something I’d recommend to all my friends, I get excited to share it with you. 🤍 Keep reading to see the 15 little finds that’ll make a big difference when you get ready for your day. And, check out my updated Amazon Storefront so you can shop all my top picks in one place.

15 Things That Just Make You Look Better

1- Steam Your Clothes: Lately, I’ve been using a steamer more often than my iron! It’s easy, and it makes your clothes look fresh and elegant. This is the one I’ve been taking on trips lately, and it really does make a difference.
2 – Spanx shapewear: I mean, everyone should own these smoothing shorts! I’ve tried many of them and always go back to this pair. For reference, they do run a little small.
3 – The right undergarments really do matter: Between seamless panties and lace thongs, you’ll be covered when wearing jeans or trousers. These are my faves.
4 – Well-fitting bras: The right bra can work magic, and a few I highly recommend include this back-smoothing one, this t-shirt bra, and this lifting one. And, if you’re looking for a strapless bra, this is the one that everyone loves.
5 – Taking care of your clothes: I’m considering switching my hangers to something like these. When it comes to handwashing undergarments, I always put my delicates in mesh bags and use a good delicates wash. Also, this fabric shaver and this lint brush come in handy on a regular basis.
Here are a few more …

6 – Depuff in the morning: Some mornings we all need a little boost, and this beauty tool is the one I’ve been using regularly! It feels really nice, and you can use either the warm or cool setting.
7 – Inexpensive skincare: My daily routine consists of using this micellar water to remove eye makeup, this affordable (and effective) Vitamin C Serum, and this cleansing balm that you’ll absolutely love.
8 – Jewelry cleaner: This simple brush (that’s easy to pack anywhere) makes your jewelry sparkle with just a couple light passes and a warm water rinse.
9 – Big sunglasses always work: I purchased these $50 sunglasses last spring, and come to find out they’re best-sellers, so I’m not the only one who loves them!
10 – My clothing emergency kit: This comes in handy when traveling (or at home) and it consists of: small travel scissors, a Tide white pen, fashion tape and a mini sewing kit.

11- A Few Tricks For Looking More Awake: These cooling eye patches are so nice in the morning — they feel great! Sometimes before a special event, I’ll use one of these masks while getting ready — it preps your skin and makes you look refreshed.
12- Instagram filter for your face: I’ve used the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finishing Powder for years. It’s pretty amazing how it smooths out your makeup without looking heavy. It’s one of those little makeup steps that really does make a difference!
13- Shave Your Face: Okay, trust me on this one! This dermaplane tool removes unwanted hair and peach fuzz and leaves your skin SO smooth. Plus, your makeup goes on so much better. If you’re not ready for the tool, these work really well too!
14- Don’t Forget Your Hands: My mom taught me to always use SPF hand cream on my hands. I also use gloves similar to these when getting a shellac manicure to avoid the lights at the nail salon. (I know, I should probably be skipping the shellac mani all together)!
15- Red Light for Your Skin: I’ve heard you have to be consistent to see the benefits, and I keep meaning to use it more regularly, but this is the LED face mask I have. Yes, my husband makes fun of me, and I do look a little funny, but I’m just trying to look and feel my best!
