Happy Saturday, hope you’re having a nice weekend! If you’re celebrating a special dad in your life, Happy Father’s Day 🤍 It has been two years since my sweet dad passed, and I’m so lucky for his impact on my life. I’m an only child, and he gave me the gift of unconditional love and acceptance, and I’m forever grateful. Initially, he hoped I’d follow in his footsteps of physics — only quick to realize that I was not even slightly interested. Despite that, he gave me unlimited encouragement and support when I found my love of fashion, and I wouldn’t be here without him.
In two days, I’m heading to NYC for a little “blog research.” This time I’m going solo, and I’m looking forward to some quiet time — it’s when I feel the most inspired! The plan is to have a couple of business meetings, along with shopping at all our favorite stores to see what’s new and what’s trending. I’ll share all the cool finds on Instagram, so stay tuned! As for outfit planning, I’m considering this casual dress and sandal combo, this favorite pair of white jeans with this new top and sandal. I always bring my silk robe, and this time I’ll be wearing the sweatpants jeans with this cozy fleece jacket on the plane. All perfect for traveling no matter where you’re going!
The following week, it’s San Diego with my Nordstrom stylist friends to preview the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s right around the corner! We’re having a pop-up in the Fashion Valley San Diego store on June 28 from 12-3 pm, and I’d absolutely love to meet you. This Week on My Camera Roll: It was sunny and pretty here, so we stopped by our local winery for a quick bite. I didn’t wear anything cute 😂, but I noticed a stylish gal wearing this Evereve top and matching skirt that I shared recently — and she looked so good! I’ve been going on and on about this $125 sandal, and it really is that good. Grab it while it’s in stock. Also, I wrote an Amazon post this week — and I’m really please with how it turned out! Top 10 Best Sellers: One of my friends came over recently carrying this tote bag, and my first thought was “is that designer?” To my surprise, it was the woven tote from Madewell and looks even better in person (more colors here)! Another affordable find that my daughter recently bought is this short-sleeved blouse. It’s quite flattering and I love the baby blue color. And, I haven’t stopped wearing these Paige drawstring pants. They’re super comfortable, and similar to linen pants but with a bit more structure.
How tall are you & what are your usual sizes? I am 5’1″,and most of the time I’m a size 27 in jeans, usually an XS in tops, and a US size 4
Favorite carry-on suitcase? For a splurge, I love my cute little Rimowa. But for a more practical option, any one of the Beis suitcases is great!
One outdoor décor essential? I think pillows, outdoor rugs, and umbrellas make the biggest difference when upgrading your outdoor space. I just bought this rug from World Market, and this one from McGee & Co.
Favorite sweater for over your shoulders? That’s an easy one: this Quince cashmere sweater! I have it in several different colors, take it on every single trip, and it’s only $50. Also love this boatneck style
Which is your most-worn pair of jeans? Probably the Mother Hustler jeans. I own this style in black, white, and a blue wash, and wear all 3 all the time!

How were you able to find your Italian cousins? My mom had an address for 25+ years, and we knew they lived in Salerno. One day, I decided to do a Google search but because they have such a common last name, it was tricky. Eventually, I was able to find a birth certificate — and once I saw the correct spelling from the birth certificate, I went to Facebook and found them all. It took me about 2 years of searching … and 3 months after I found their names, I booked a trip to go meet them!
Fave of the week? I’m loving these brown Rag & Bone kitten heels and they look perfect with both of these Zara bags (here and here) that I just bought.
