The Best Investment Piece on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
I love helping all of you select the very best items on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! And, after many years as a Nordstrom Buyer and Personal Stylist, I kinda know a thing or two about navigating the sale 😉 One thing I learned very early on is that investing in coats and jackets is worth every penny. I’ve said it over and over again — a great jacket or coat makes every outfit. And, based on my own experience, these are the pieces we all still wear (and love) years later. Ironically, my first buying assignment with Nordstrom was in the coat and suit department, which might be where my love of coats comes from!
This year on the Anniversary Sale, there are many excellent choices — and the prices are incredible. My guidance to clients and friends has always been to pick up a few coats and jackets while they’re reduced. The prices are really good, and trust me, you’ll be happy you have them once the weather changes! #1 – Paige wide-leg jeans – These two jeans will update your entire wardrobe. Love the Paige Anessa and the grayish/blackish Paige Sasha
#2 – Classic coats are timeless – and these are worth the investment. The black Fleurette cashmere coat is gorgeous, and this Theory trench looks like a designer piece
#3 – Vince silk blouse – I love this blouse so much! You’ll wear it for so many different occasions, with denim or trousers
#4 – Luggage – Since we’re in travel season, I suggest picking up a piece of luggage while it’s on sale. This gray one will help you easily spot your bag in baggage claim
