Here’s your new winter capsule wardrobe
It’s always helpful to have endless outfit combinations at your fingertips … that’s why I love creating capsule wardrobes. Right now, new items are arriving in-store every day, and it’s a great time to add a piece or two for that fun, winter update. Your wardrobe should be comprised of elevated, versatile, well-fitting pieces. And, when these pieces are combined, they make stylish outfits for all your upcoming events 🙂 This month, I was inspired by red, faded denim, and soft ivory pieces combined with gray and black. These colors are timeless and sophisticated, and they look beautiful together.
One of my favorite things to do is find new pieces that make stylish outfits. Of course, I also like to mix it up a bit! For example, if you add a touch of red with your accessories, it gives your outfits a little extra pop. For many years, this was my work in “Room 3” at Nordstrom, and it was truly a dream job. But, this little blog took off, and I was able to give “dressing room experiences” online to many people across the country. I’m still counting my blessings, since making outfits is my happy place 🤍

In order to create an amazing wardrobe, you have to start with the basics. Then, once you have the basics covered, keep things fresh and updated by adding new, colorful accessories. A red coat is a show stopper! Try red and faded blue paired together — it’s chic and is a combo you can wear easily into the new year. This blouse caught my eye, and it can be worn so many different ways! I also love red and ivory paired, and this new sweater from the Frame Ritz collection is so stylish

Stopped into Nordstrom the other day and immediately spotted this denim jacket. Anything with a little sparkle always gets people’s attention! Also, I tried on this Rails dress and it’s fantastic
Knee boots are trending, and I’ve been looking for the perfect pair lately. Finally decided to try these, I’ll keep you posted
Graphic tees are hard to find and any time a new Cinq a Sept one arrives, it quickly sells out. So, grab this one if you can!
Frank & Eileen Triple Fleece jacket
This triple fleece cozy jacket arrived the other day, and it’s SO good! It’s available in several colors — all are super versatile
Gray and cream together are classic, and these new Mother Hustler jeans are worth a look. They’re versatile, and you can wear them with sneakers or boots
Naghedi totes are an all season favorite. They’re durable, easy to pack and the texture adds so much to your outfit
Anine Bing tweed jacket
Anine Bing is so cool – I actually spotted her in Mexico having breakfast right behind me! It was her pointy toe flats that caught my eye, similar to these boots
Baseball hats are trending, and between the Anine Bing ones and the new Ritz Paris ones, it’s hard to decide which one. Bonus: these are an all season piece
Little touches like this gold bracelet and earrings takes every outfit up a few notches
Varley puffer jacket
Varley is such a cool London brand, and this puffer jacket is warm and reminiscent of a more expensive Moncler version
