Everything you need for college, by Susie and Eilise
Everything you need to send your young one off to college, part 2!
Meet Eilise, the newest member of So Susie, and a recent University of Oregon college graduate! I love mentoring recent grads, and feel so lucky to work alongside Eilise. We are having a lot of fun together, and we’re both learning new things every single day! Recently, we were talking about my “baby” Jake, who is heading off to college in a few weeks and is way taller than me 😂 Eilise had some great ideas about what’s needed to create a cool dorm room set up. It also helps that she has two equally stylish sisters going back to college soon, so you can be sure these trending picks are spot on! This post is about everything you need to send your young one off to college.
First stop: Walmart! To make things easy, we did a little shopping both online and in-store. We used Walmart’s college checklist on Walmart.com to quickly find and shop for everything we needed for Jake’s room (you can also use the app). Of course, we found some great basics, like a backpack for $27.99, an air fryer for $34.99, and nice bedding for under $30. Walmart is the PERFECT place to get everything you need!
