This is my 29th Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and as always, my goal is to help you select the very best pieces. I spend weeks reviewing everything, both in person and online, and I’ve narrowed it all down to my top 10 picks that I’m certain will sell out first! The sale can be a little overwhelming (and exciting), because, well, we all love a good deal 😉 Check your closets and see what you need, then get ready to have some fun!
Why is the Anniversary Sale such a big deal? Because it’s brand new fall merchandise, on sale before the season even starts. And, it gets marked back up in a few weeks. So now is the time to grab all the main pieces for your fall wardrobe.
Your #1 strategy: focus on the items that are most likely to sell out. Today’s post shows you the 10 best things I think are worth grabbing before they’re gone. Many customer favorites literally sell out on the first day, and sometimes they don’t get restocked. So don’t wait … buy them as soon as you can!

#1 Designer Collections, Part 1: Start Here
Hands down, this is the very first place to start. There are certain items in each collection that go first, so I’m sharing this year’s predictions! Let me explain. Several years ago, when I was working as a Nordstrom Stylist, we were’t allowed to pull items for our customers until 8:00 am. Of course, everyone wanted a Veronica Beard jacket 🙂 Just before opening, 8 stylists were standing in front of the fixture, and we each could take ONE. No joke. And, any others to be sold that day needed to be ordered. This is what I’m talking about … buy the pieces that will go first. Trust me on this one!

Denim is always a smart buy on the Anniversary Sale, and every year the best styles sell out. Look for favorite brands like Mother, Paige, Frame and Rag & Bone.
