The Nordstrom Brand That Looks Like Quiet Luxury … For Less

I’ve been shopping at Nordstrom for basically my whole life … and I’m pretty good at spotting a new item or collection that I think will sell out. It’s the decade I spent as a buyer that helped me narrow in on the key pieces worth buying. Yesterday, while combing through the new arrivals, I noticed many good pieces that basically stopped me in my tracks! From this brown suede skirt to this Reiss-inspired knit dress to this cashmere sweater, every piece feels genuinely elevated. It’s the kind of quiet luxury you’d expect from brands that cost twice as much. The colors are rich and beautiful, and these are the pieces you’ll reach for all season long.

5 Nordstrom Basics You Should Try … ASAP

#1 Cashmere Sweaters – I can’t begin to say enough good things about Nordstrom cashmere. The quality is incredible, and you’ll find everything from a classic turtleneck sweater to basic crew styles and much more. This season, I’m loving the pretty bright colors. See everything here.

#2 Dresses – You won’t believe how good these look! I was blown away by this new knit one that reminds me of a similar Reiss dress, except this one is almost half the price. Then there’s this ruched style that everyone loves (here and here), and for only $129, it’s not hard to see why. Also spotted this polka dot one with lace trim that kind of reminds me of Rails. #3 Skirts – Talk about the “it” piece of the season! Skirts are back, and they’re super easy to style. Pair with a classic cashmere sweater or a slightly looser button up, a cool belt, and either a knee boot or a heel. So so chic!
