The Fall Capsule Wardrobe: 15 Pieces That Just Work
Building a great wardrobe capsule is genuinely one of my favorite things to do for you. And, honestly, I spend hours and hours getting it just right. The trick is to find pieces that check every box: versatile enough to make multiple outfits, wearable across seasons, and of course, super stylish and on trend. Great outfits always come back to the essentials, but here’s the thing — they don’t need to be boring. Look for elevated essentials that feel special, and then layer in the fun things that truly take your closet to the next level.
Today I’m sharing 15 brand new pieces to help you build your best fall wardrobe. These are the ones to invest in first. This month, I was inspired by the color burgundy after seeing it everywhere in London. It’s a flattering color on almost everyone, and looks beautiful when combined with warm neutrals like ivory and green, soft shades of blue, faded denim, and of course, black. Keep reading to see everything I found, and remember: building an amazing wardrobe takes time, so start now. Cheers 🥂

My highest recommendations
Quilted dickey jacket – Last year, this practical jacket sold out, and now it’s back in two colors: navy & chocolate. I tried it on and it’s lightweight yet super warm. And, you can layer in a dickey, thanks to the hidden zipper. Look at this one for a great option Poncho – Once the weather cools down, this is one of the pieces I recommend the most. You can throw it over a simple tee or an elegant sweater, and it always look elegant and elevated Button up shirt – I’ve been reading about these shirts for a while now, and I’ve just added these striped and white options to my cart. Now I’m patiently waiting for them to arrive! You’ll love the ruched sleeve detail, it’s relaxed and modern Staud silk dress – I’ve been eyeing this dress for a while. Then this past week, my dear friend was wearing it and it looked stunning. Love the little tie detail, and the color is gorgeousVeronica Beard jeans – Everyone loves Veronica Beard jeans, and this new pair caught my eye. The sweetheart pocket details are very flattering, and the wide-leg is elongating and really versatile

Vince kick flare pant – Love this pant for many reasons! It’s flattering, the fabric is perfect to wear any time of year, and you can wear it now with sandals and heels and later with boots. It’s always a top recommendation Satin Lodge pant – This is another versatile favorite. You can dress it up with a blouse (like this) and heels, or wear it with flip flops and a basic tee for a longer flight. Love this dark olive green color — try a matching set with this bomber jacket. So chic! Vegan skirt – Skirts have been trending the past couple of seasons, and a black faux leather one gives a little edge to the look. Try tucking in a button up like the one above, or pair with a cool bomber jacket and a low heel slingback. Side note: this is a shorter skirt, but a 17″ is on the longer side when it comes mini skirts Bomber jacket – Stand collar jackets continue to be the jacket of choice, and this oversized one is perfect with the Vince pant, your favorite jeans and the faux leather skirt. It’s a versatile piece to have in your closet Soft trench – I’m so excited to share this favorite trench with you again this season! I think this might be the most-worn piece I have in my closet. It’s important to note that it’s more jacket-like than “coat.” It’s flowy and lightweight, but can still keep you warm if you layer a hoodie or sweater under. You can also wear it with skirts and dresses, as well as with jeans and even leather pants. It runs a little big, so size downAnd Now … The Outfits
