Welcome to this week’s Amazon Edit: 8 Summer Finds I Wish I’d Discovered Sooner! Since many of us shop there regularly, today’s post is all about a handful of summer pieces that have become part of my daily routine. These are the ones I keep wishing I’d found earlier in the season. After many many years as a Nordstrom buyer and personal stylist, my standards are high. You all know I’m picky, so when I find something I’d recommend to all my friends, I get excited to share it with you 🤍
This week’s lineup is all about the little things that I use regularly … and love! Highlights include these outdoor umbrella stands that come in white instead of the typical black, these cordless lamps that I want in very room in my house, and the pill case that actually looks pretty when traveling or just on your bedside table. 8 Things I Can’t Stop Using
#1 – Cordless lamps – Last summer was the first time I discovered these, and now I want them all over my house. They give off the prettiest soft light, and work well outside or in a bathroom — anywhere where you want a little extra touch.
#2 – Outdoor umbrellas – Business & Pleasure has a great collection of fun and stylish outdoor items, and I love that they sell on Amazon because you can get fast shipping. I purchased two of these white/navy umbrellas, and they look amazing in white umbrella stands like these. Goodbye to basic umbrella stands!
#3 – Beaded sandals – These designer-inspired sandals are so cute – my girlfriend wore them every day on her recent RV trip across several states. They’re comfortable, and the gold and the brown are both pretty. I bring mine on every vacation.
#4 – Cosmetic bag – If you want an inexpensive, zip around cosmetic bag that holds everything you need, this is the one to buy. It zips around so everything stays in place, and the hook makes it super easy to get to all your things.
#5 – Dosey pill case – This travel pill case might be my favorite purchase of the whole month! I use it on all my trips, and when I’m home, it sits on my bedside chest. The color is pretty (there are several options) and I finally said goodbye to ziplock bags!

#6 – Coffee table books – I really love coffee table books so much, and they elevate the space where you put them. Look for ones in neutral colors, and check the spines to make sure they fit in with your décor. Some recent favorites include this Slim Aarons one, this Italy one and this pretty new one.
#7- Depuffer tool – This depuffer tool feels nice, and there’s a hot and cool setting depending on what your face needs. I’ve found that using facial oil is the way to go, and this is the one I use.
#8 – Jute rug – Just added this jute rug to my cart this morning after seeing how beautiful it looks in my friend Allison’s house. She has the most talented eye for design, and has been a huge inspiration for my own home re-design.
