Stylist-Approved Picks: These Finds Just Caught My Attention!

This time of year is always exciting in the fashion world. NYFW kicks off in a couple of weeks, and I’m excited to be going again — this time with two of my kids! We’re staying at Fouquet’s (my favorite hotel) and planning to do a little shopping, some people-watching, and of course, lots of eating. We also have a couple of events lined up, so be sure and stay tuned to my Insta stories. Now I’m officially in outfit planning mode! As the new-season trends start to emerge, I’m already making a list of what’s worth adding to our closets, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you.

Today’s post is all about stylist-approved finds that have caught my attention. There’s a fresh take on the classic trench coat you’re sure to love, along with the color everyone will be wearing this season. There’s also the go-to shoe staple I always recommend getting first. I hope this post and the style boards below get you get excited about your fall wardrobe! Brown is the color of the season — always elegant and so very chic!

#2 The coolest trench coats around

Sézane is such a cool girl brand, and you’ll love their coats this time of year. Look at this new scarf trench (above left) — it’s so good, and it won’t last. Another best-seller is this Clyde coat (above right) that has a fun check lining. This coat is longer and looser, and I ordered it today since it’s petite friendly! For shorter versions, look at this new Frame one, this Rails one, and this one at Aritzia.

#3 Tuckernuck is looking really good

Tuckernuck is one of my favorite places to shop — they carry many of our favorite brands. Also heard they’re opening this month in NYC, so it’ll be my first stop!

#4 Get your boots early

I say this every year, but if you buy your staple boots early, your outfits will come together easily, and you’ll have a longer wearing season!

This Sam Edelman ankle boot (above) is really good, and last year they ended up selling out. The price is amazing, and they look way more expensive than they are! Stuart Weitzman is another brand that does boots well, and I just purchased this everyday ankle boot, and this dressier knee boot. And, I’m contemplating these too! Other favorites include the Staud Wally boot and these by Vince.
