Woven bags are having a moment, and one might say they’re even more popular than raffia bags (though — we still love raffia). While I can’t imagine getting through summer without a straw tote, it’s exciting to see something new come along! For example, this Madewell bag is so good, I highly recommend it. My dear friend was carrying a green one the other day, and I thought for sure it was this one by Dragon Diffusion. To see the differences, read this recent review.

This season, sleek, modern jewelry is everywhere! And, one of the benefits is that it’s often not too expensive. Long pendant necklaces like ones from this new “it” brand are popular, as are cuff bracelets like this one, sculptured earrings, and anything with shells. Very fun for summer.

Scarves have also made a comeback over the last couple of years. I know, one could make the case that they never went away 😉 But, you know how fashion trends are! Right now, everyone is wearing a scarf — whether it’s knotted onto your bag, in your hair, around your neck or even as a top, scarves are an investment worth making. The two by Prada above are designer, but you don’t have to spend a lot of money here — I also love this affordable red one.
Pro-tip: Toss a couple into your suitcase so you can give your outfits a little twist while on vacay. They’re the easiest accessory to pack!

#4 Summer Sandals
Everyday summer sandals are a wardrobe essential, and this summer, there are several new styles that will elevate all your outfits. My good friend puts on flip flops in May and takes them off in October — I’m not kidding 😂 Grab a few pairs, you’ll wear them more than you think!

#5 Statement Belts

The other day, I spotted my super stylish friend wearing a studded belt, and I was so surprised to find out it was the Amazon version! Whether you go for the Khaite cool-girl belt or something more classic like the chain one above, you won’t regret adding two (or three) to your wardrobe. Throw on one with a dress for a completely different (and flattering) look.
