Most purchased: Reiss leather jacket | Mother t-shirt | Paige Claudine jeans | Sandals | Jamie Joseph ring | Gigi Clozeau necklace

These are the most purchased pieces on So Susie!

Here are the Top 30 🌟

One of the things I enjoy so so much about my job is hearing from all of you. Just yesterday, a sweet Instagram friend sent me five photos, and in each one, she was wearing something I’d suggested. It truly made my day! So, whether it’s a DM, a text, or even in person — it’s super helpful, very fulfilling, and I love the feedback. I get some of the best blog ideas from our exchanges — keep ’em coming!

Recently, I attended a garden party hosted by a dear friend who happens to be a garden designer, and it was really lovely. I couldn’t help but notice that several women (who follow along on So Susie) were wearing Gigi Clozeau necklaces. These are the little things that get me out of bed every morning. It’s truly an honor to serve all of you, and I take it very seriously, so … thank you 🤍

Today’s post is a little recap of your recent favorite purchases. Last week, I asked this question on Instagram: what are your favorite purchase(s) from So Susie? Over 200 of you responded in 24 hours — which is absolutely amazing! Of course, many of the same pieces kept coming up. So, these are the top 30 items that are worth sharing with you 🙂 I try really hard to carefully select the things I talk about on the blog, and I own all 30 of these items. And, I always follow my authenticity promise: I own them or have tried them on and approved the fit, or my sources have given them solid reviews. Happy shopping!

Denim: a very hot topic on So Susie!

Left: Cinq a Sept Holly jacket, here and here | Rag & Bone Peyton | Sandals | Bag, similar | Right: Polo top | Mother Roller | Naghedi tote | Sandals Rag & Bone Peyton – It has been a long time since I’ve owned or recommended a Rag & Bone jean, but these feel new and updated. The wash is a perfect faded blue, and they’re flattering on everyone. Many of you have purchased these and reported back how happy you are! For reference, I took a size down to 26.

Paige Claudine – I first tried this jean in black over the holidays, and ended up wearing it all the time. The fit is really similar to the Mother Hustlers (also love). This new gray wash just arrived, and I’ve already worn them on multiple occasions. With these, I went with my usual size 27.

Mother Roller – This is definitely a fashion jean since it has a wider leg. I was surprised when both my daughter and husband said they liked them! They feel modern, and I love the faded wash. Many of you have recently purchased these and have shared how much you love them too! For sizing reference, I’m 5’1″ and had mine hemmed several inches.

J.Crew wide-leg slim jean – I haven’t purchased J.Crew jeans … ever! But when I saw another petite blogger talking about them, I knew I had to give them a try. It’s rare that I find jeans that don’t need an alteration, and these were the perfect length. I love the new  Lakeshore wash, which you can wear now and again in the fall with boots. For reference I purchased a petite size 26.

Shoes & handbags: top sellers

Left: Farm Rio dress | Larroude Vivi here and here | Dior bag | Right: Vince dress | Gucci Horsebit sandal | Bag, similar Larroude Vivi – Similar to the Schutz sandal below, these have a special heel that makes them a touch dressier. They’re perfect with jeans and dresses, and are surprisingly comfortable.

Schutz Victorie – This might be one of the easiest styles of shoe to wear. The heel height is perfect, and the neutral color goes with everything — dresses, denim, shorts. As you can see by my photos, I wear these all the time.

Gucci Horsebit – This continues to be a top shoe, and if you’re up for a splurge, this sandal is stylish, comfortable and really quite chic. Wear them with denim, pants, dresses — most seasons of the year. Someone wrote me “huge splurge, no regrets.” So there you go!

Naghedi tote  These handwoven neoprene bags are the hot item – everywhere! I added this cool orange after I shopped off my own style board — hah! The écru color is another great neutral and has been sold out until now. Of course, black is great too. These bags add a nice texture to any solid outfit. Oh, and they’re well-priced! I like the St. Barths Medium size.

Hands down, the best blazers/jackets

Left: Cinq A Sept Khloe | Paige Claudine | Gucci sandals | Right: Anine Bing utility jacket | Frame top | Black pants | Sandals

Cinq A Sept Holly and Khloe – We love blazers around here, and so do you! There are two that are at the top of the list. The first is the Cinq a Sept Khloe crepe blazer, with a good year-round fabric. Overall, it’s a great blazer. (I wear the size 2, but I’ve heard that if you have broad shoulders, you should go up a size.) The second one is the short sleeved version I’m wearing in the photo above. It runs roomy, so I went with an XXS. It’s super cute, and looks great with denim or the matching jogger.

Rag & Bone Slade – Do you want a blazer that’s cozy like a sweater, but looks polished? Well, this is it! It has been around for a few seasons, but the black was recently re-stocked. I have the size 4 and it fits perfectly. The brand new camel color is a different knit fabric but equally as good! For sizing info, in the black style I wear my regular size 4, and the new camel one I sized down to a 2.

Anine Bing utility jacket Hands down, another top response for casual jackets, and it’s no surprise since I feature them all the time 🙂 I just thought you might like to know that both the Anine Bing AND the 1822 one for $59 are styles we all love. If you’re curious about the difference between the two, check out the recent review I wrote in this blog post.

Your active favorites

Left: Spanx AirEssentials crew (over shoulders) | Wide leg pants | Naghedi tote | Sandals | Right: Vuori tennis dress | Hoodie | On sneakers Spanx AirEssentials – Talk about stylish, comfortable, and perfect for errands as well as travel, the Air Essentials collection is SO GOOD! According to their website, the fabric is “lightweight, soft and ultra drapey, and designed to feel silky against your skin.”  I 100% agree. Recently, I wore these wide-leg pants, this ATM t-shirt with the Air Essentials crew over my shoulders, these sandals and this tote. I felt kinda cute 😉 Check out this brand new jumpsuit – I tried it as well and love! Use code: SUSIEXSPANX for 10% off.

Varley sweater and shorts – I normally don’t mention things that are sold out, but the Varley Alder short is SO good, and I just noticed on their website, it’s coming back! Don’t wait on these or any of the 1/2 zips or crochet sweaters. They’re some of our favorite athleisure pieces ever!

Vuori tennis – The Vuori Halo hoodie and matching tennis skirt is my personal favorite and I wear it to run errands, play pickleball or go on exercise walks. The Halo Collection is soft and super comfy, and you’ll love the color choices. For reference, I wear a size small in both pieces.

Lululemon Belt Bag – I can’t begin to tell you how good this little bag is! It comes on every vacation and it’s practical and stylish. I also use it at home when I’m out walking in my neighborhood. Many of you already own and love this best-seller, but in the event that you don’t, run and get it, and thank me later 🙂

Top picks: pants and tops

Left: Blazer | Black top | Spanx white pants | Sandals | Right: J.Crew Juliette cardigan | White jeans | YSL sandals | Tote

J.Crew cardigans (Lady and Juliette) – These are total favorites. One person wrote “I keep adding colors!” This cardi is the perfect weight for most months of the year. The camel and gray look really nice with a white tank and white jeans. Add caramel accessories, and your outfit gets instant “chic-ness!” Size down in this one — it runs big. For something shorter, this Lady style is a newer style everyone is loving. For sizing, it runs TTS.

Frame Gillian blouse – This silky feminine blouse is a big splurge, but it’s worth it if you go for black. I used to say in the Nordstrom dressing room, everyone needs a black blouse (if you look good in black of course). Most of us feel good in black, and you’ll always feel a little extra anywhere you go! If you love color, be sure and check out this gorgeous lilac color.

Spanx “Perfect Pants” Spanx has their fit dialed in, and the Ponte fabric is slimming and holds you in just a little. These pants are year ’round. I LOVE the new split hem ones — so chic! For something more classic, the slim straight pants are great (I wore them in this video). And, if you like a classic wide leg style, look at these. All so good!

Dresses & jewelry

Left: ALC dress | Gucci sandals | Cult Gaia bag | Right: Frame dress | Sandals | Dior bag ALC Renzo – Right now, this is my absolute favorite dress. It looks good on almost everyone, and it works for many different events. I love the black, this blush color, and of course any bright color that catches my eye. Just yesterday, a dear reader sent me a photo of herself in this dress – talk about gorgeous!

Elan coverup This coverup/dress consistently sells out, but I noticed it’s back! For $74, you just can’t go wrong. Lately, I put it on almost every night around the house 🙂

J.Crew Slip dresses – The quality and fit on the J.Crew slip dresses are so good, and for $98, it’s a must-have.

Frame linen dress – This linen dress is very flattering, and the orange is a really pretty shade. There’s a similar one in navy if you prefer a less bright color. For sizing, I went with a small.

Gigi Clozeau necklace – Last summer, I started wearing this necklace, and I would often get a handful of comments asking about it (even if I was talking about something else)! It might go down as the favorite necklace I’ve ever owned, and I’m so glad many of you love it too. It’s dainty, perfect for layering, and I haven’t take mine off since I got it.

J.Crew bracelets – You can’t go wrong with J.Crew jewelry! Pieces such as this silver cuff or this larger tennis bracelet make a statement. Everything is well priced, you’ll feel good about adding a piece or two to your collection.

Can’t forget …

Elemis Cleansing Balm – This is like a mini spa in a jar! It’s really similar to the Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm, which I also love and use regularly. I’d pick up whichever one is on sale.

Spanx panties – A friend wrote me saying she’s obsessed with these panties! I am too 🙂 The lace detail is pretty, and they hold your tummy in just a little. Perfect for wearing under dresses.
