15 Things I’d Buy Again (They’re That Good)

Writing this fun little blog is truly a career highlight … and I’m so thankful for all of you! It started as a place to share style inspo with my clients and friends, but it quickly grew into something much bigger. And, I’m still loving every single minute of it! THANK YOU for following along and giving me the chance to share what I know. I appreciate you 🤍

Today I’m listing 15 things I’d buy again, because they’re that good. This has been one of my very favorite posts to write, because I’m excited to recommend items that are so great that I even tell my friends about them!  My goal is to keep you in the know 😉 Of course, I follow my “authenticity promise” whenever I write here on So Susie. I’m always honest, and only share things that I own, have tried on myself or have helped clients purchase. In other words, you can trust my recommendations.

Email side note: Sometimes my emails land in the junk or promotions folder – and here’s what to do. Move this email from Promotions to your Primary tab. Or star it, or reply with just “hi!”. This tells your inbox that you actually want my emails – and I’ll land in your inbox from now on. 🤍

P.S. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is right around the corner! Follow along here on the website, the ShopLTK app, and Instagram. If you’re new around here, and don’t want to miss a post, subscribe here. You’ll also get my exclusive newsletter, with special finds not on the blog, only for subscribers. And, mark your calendars: I’ll be going LIVE straight from the Nordstrom dressing room to share Anniversary Sale favorites on July 14 at 11:00 am PDT. Come join the party!

And now for the 15 things I’d buy again …

#1 – The best casual summer dress – If you’re looking for a casual dress that’s incredibly flattering, loose and super comfy, this is it! It’s made of super soft gauze cotton, which makes it perfect for hot summer days. There are several options including this short one, and this halter style. All of them get almost five-star reviews, and they’re available in so many colors – it’s hard to choose!

#2 – Wore this packable hat and sunnies every day on vacationHaving a packable straw hat is a non-negotiable if you’re traveling anywhere warm this summer. This is the one I wore every day – it held up (even after flying off a couple of times!), you look cute even if you start your day without a shower (!!), it’s easy to pack and it protects your skin. After tying so many sunglasses (I have a lot), I went back to the Gucci ones I’ve worn since 2017! They’re still in style – and once again, between a hat and sunnies, you can just add lipstick and feel put together.

#3 – These are the only pants I’m wearing this season! I wore the soft white crepette ones on the airplane (yes, I wore white), and felt kind of cute! You’ll be surprised how good they look right out of the dryer – not one wrinkle in sight! I recently added the satin ones and wore them yesterday to a hair appointment with a white tee and flip flops. Em has them too and is also wearing them non-stop. Finally, if you need a linen pant (we all do!), look at this – on sale right now, and available in several colors. This is another one of my highest recommendations!

#4 – Cotton sweaters to throw over your shoulders – This is now a summer staple – even when it’s scorching hot outside. Sounds kind of crazy, but hear me out. When the air conditioning is full blast on hot summer days … I don’t know about you, but I freeze! And that’s where a basic sweater comes in handy. This summer, I’ve been wearing this best-selling cotton one by Quince. The sky blue color is so perfect – I wore it all over Italy, and it’s only $45. Grab one or two in a couple of colors you love, I’m positive you’ll wear this all the time.

#5 – If you’re looking for a new totethis is the one to try! It looks like a designer piece, it’s really sturdy and holds a lot. The red one is finally back in stock, and the chocolate brown works all year long. I use this divider (size slender medium) to keep things organized.

#6 – Two jeans I can’t stop wearing – If you want a cool, modern jean that will update everything, try this new one by Mother! It’s available in ecru, white and a medium faded blue. There are some petite options here & here. For a more basic jean, that’s still modern, the Paige Anessa is my top recommendation – and there are many versions available, including ankle lengths. Look at this new stripe, this faded blue, and this best-selling one. Fit tip: If you’re between sizes, go down, or stick to your usual size.

#7 – The new white boxy tee that’s cool – We all need a good white tee, and sometimes trying one that’s not so basic is a really good idea! I love this new one by Frame – it’s shorter but not cropped, the weight isn’t too thin, and the wide hem at the bottom makes it feel more intentional. I wore mine the other day with the satin lodge pants and flip flops – it’s just kind of perfect, and the one I keep reaching for on a regular basis.

#8 – The pj’s I wear at home and when traveling – I can’t begin to say enough good things about the brand Printfresh! For starters the silky soft prints are bright and happy feeling, and they’re size inclusive.  Love! This is the set I’ve been wearing lately, and I also have the robe in a different pattern. Em brought this set on vacation and she loves them too. This is one of my highest recommendations, and you’ll feel a little extra when you’re getting ready in the morning

#9 – Sneakers I just found – It’s been a long time since I’ve found a sneaker that I’m excited about! They give a 2″ lift, they’re comfy, and they go with everything. I am between a size 6 1/2 or 7, and I went with the size 7. Grab them now while they’re on sale!

And more …

Left: Rails top | AGOLDE Ren jeans | Demellier tote | Right: Staud dress | Loeffler Randall sandal

#10 – Favorite sandal of the season – I know, I’ve been going on and on about these sandals, but they really are that good! The little gold embellishment adds a little extra to your outfits. They’re available in both a 3″ heel or flats!

#11 – Zoe Chicco necklace stack – I’ve been wearing this diamond necklace for the last two years … every single day. It layers perfectly with every necklace and adds just the right amount of sparkle. If you decide to splurge, use my code: SUSIEW15 to get 15% off your order.

#12 The comfiest undies you’ll ever wear – These aren’t cute or sexy by any means, but if you want a comfortable panty, this is the one to try! Secret tip: this is the number-one selling panty in the Nordstrom Lingerie department, and pretty much everyone who works there owns them. If you like wearing thong panties (I always wear under jean), I recently discovered these by Cosabella – and it’s unbeliveable how comfortable they are. The lace is soft and pretty, and they don’t get wedged in like others do 🙂

#13 – Travel jeans that are so comfy you won’t believe it –  For super cool airport style, give these jeans a try! Add your favorite blazer, cozy sweater or even a sweatshirt — you’ll thank me later 😉 Oh, and they aren’t just for traveling — you’ll wear them all year long with every shoe in your closet. See all the options here. Use my special code SUSIEW20 for 20% off!

Here are the last three

#14 – This body lotion works magicIt’s hard to imagine that a simple bottle of body lotion could create such a fuss. And, until I tried it, I couldn’t either! Now I literally have a bottle everywhere — in my handbag, travel bag, closet and bathroom. For some reason, it makes your legs glisten – almost as if you applied fake tanner. And, it’ll leave your skin super soft, smooth and beautifully moisturized.

#15 – The summer fragrance you’ll get compliments on all day long – I had been reading about Portofino for months, and when I was in NYC awhile back, it was my first stop. Rarely do I purchase a fragrance on the spot, but this one was so good that I even bought the body oil too. It’s a little sexy, perfect for warm summer days, and it smells sooo good.
