The 7 Best Things to Buy at Nordstrom Right Now!
My stylist friends and I just spent four full days at the Nordstrom store in San Diego, and it kind of felt like old times 🤍 I enjoyed wandering slowly through the store, taking note of everything that caught my eye so I could share it with you. Fashion Valley is one of the top stores in the entire company, and they have pretty much everything in stock. I was lucky enough to get the inside scoop on the upcoming Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which I’ll be posting about all next week!
Today’s post is about 7 standout pieces on the sale that are absolutely worth considering. From elevated basics to trend-forward staples, these pieces work for everyday life and feel a little special. And, whether you’re packing for a getaway or updating your summer wardrobe, these stylish picks are easy, flattering, and very wearable. Read on to see the 7 finds and of course, how to style them!
P.S. If you’re excited about the NSale and want the inside scoop, then be sure to follow along this week as I share my secret strategy on the exact way to shop the sale. Believe it or not, there really is a strategy for navigating the sale, and after 25+ years at Nordstrom, I kind of know a thing or two 😉 Also check the Shop LTK app regularly — I’ll also be posting extra content there. Cheers!

#1 The Best Dresses

Rails collection: Eyelet dress | Stripe dress | Green dress
It is definitely dress season, and boy was the dress department loaded! As I was wandering through pulling out ones that caught my eye, it became apparent that Eliza J. has some pretty great options right now. This is a brand that’s affordable, super stylish, and fits almost everyone — no matter what your size might be. Below are some that are worth considering.
#2 Shoes, Shoes and More Shoes

Left: Dolce Vita sandal | Middle: Sam Edelman wedge | Right: Steve Madden sandal
The shoe department was buzzing, and for good reason: the selection is AMAZING! Whether you love designer splurge shoes or more affordable ones, the choices are incredible. Here are the best ones, in my opinion.
Dolce Vita: An affordable brand that is looking better than ever. I’ve been going on and on about these sandals, as well at these flat studded ones, these higher heeled ones and these studded flat sandals.
Steve Madden: Get the look of the Hermes sandals but at a fraction of the price. These are so good, and it’s going to be tricky to choose between soft white, caramel or black — maybe get them all? 😉
Designer Faves: This Fendi shoe is super cool, and both the heeled ones and the flat ones were featured at the pop-up shop. If you’re looking for go-with-everything slide sandals, check out these Valentinos. Also love these Gucci slides and these new lower heeled sandals.
#3 The Brand New Ulla Johnson Collection
Ulla Johnson is one of the best brands out there, and their new collection just arrived … yesterday! I immediately purchased this dress. It was a toss up between this longer midi style and the one I bought — tough choice. If you’re going on vacation this summer, any of these pieces is worth considering — they’re that good.
#4 Cute Bags That Aren’t Designer

Quince dress | Red Madewell tote
While I love designer bags, there are some great options that are more affordable, and Fashion Valley had some good ones!
#5 The Best Beauty Scores
Many of us really love beauty products, and we had a little beauty section at our pop-up shop! The Dyson rep was demonstrating how to use the Airwrap, and I was mesmerized — and it’s now in my shopping bag. The founder of Arcona stopped by, and between the exfoliator and the Facial Toner pads, pretty much everyone made a purchase. I always wander through the fragrance department, and I did a heavy spritz of my new favorite Portofino perfume, along with this new one — both are amazing!
#6 Vacation Finds: Farm Rio & Doen

Left: Frame top | Drawstring jeans | Prada tote | Havaiana’s | Celine sunglasses | Earrings | Right: Cardigan | Doen dress | Prada bag | Sandals | Earrings
The day I arrived, so did a new Farm Rio collection! If you’re going on vacation, you’ll want to check it all out here. Doen is another cool-girl brand you won’t want to miss — I wrote about it here. Be sure to check out these new pieces below.
#7 Faded Denim Everything
Right now, every denim brand has a collection of light wash, faded denim. This new Paige jean recently arrived, and it’s also available in petites. See below for some other great new arrivals.
