Here’s How to Style This Trendy Sneaker Brand

For a while, I was obsessed with Nike sneakers (and still am) … even when I was actually working at Adidas 😂! Within the last year, I have fully hopped on board the Adidas sneaker train and I’m obsessed to say the least. When I first tried on the original Sambas I wasn’t completely convinced they were my style… until I found this new Sambae style. The Sambae sneaker is slightly different in color and has a little more height than the originals. I’ve worn them with every outfit imaginable: jeans, linen pants, even dresses and skirts.

Side note: Pay close attention to the size guide and if they are men’s vs. women’s shoes. Check the size guides for specific conversions (for example: a men’s size 6 is a women’s size 7, per the Adidas website). For more context, my true shoe size is typically a 7.5.  I wear a size 7 in the Sambae sneakers and a 7.5 in the Gazelle Bold sneakers. So, I ended up ordering two sizes and returned the ill-fitting ones to the nearest store location (depending on which brand I bought them from). I would recommend doing this if you have a location that sell Adidas sneakers nearby and aren’t sure about sizing.

I know these Adidas sneakers are crazy priced, but if you’re looking for a similar vibe, I like this pair and this pair. The Wales Bonner x Adidas collab was a drop collection, so the resale price is extremely high because they are considered rare. I saw this gorgeous denim jacket on TikTok the other day and literally fell in love. I’m considering splurging because I love it that much! Trust me it looks way cuter tried on. I also found this Citizens of Humanity jacket that looks similar.

My mom just bought this Gucci cardigan and I haven’t stopped thinking about it! I love dressing down a fancier cardigan with a cool pair of sneakers, and if you’re not looking to spend $1000 on these silver sneakers (trust me I wouldn’t either), look at this pair — or this pair is very similar.

If you’ve seen me out recently, I’m most likely wearing these striped linen pants. Sadly, the pair I own is from H&M and they’re sold out. But, I found an identical pair here. I love these pants styled with anything pink, and this Sezane sweater is one of their best sellers.
