March drop: 6 pieces you need now!
This week, my Nordstrom Stylist friends and I announced our March “N6 Drop” (a monthly drop of six of our favorite, best-selling items). We selected our favorite Rails dress, a striped shirt, cute sandals under $200, and the hottest skirt trend for 2024. Today’s post is about making good, solid everyday outfits, and six pieces that will help you put them all together. They’re stylish, very wearable, and I’m sure you’ll love them. Keep reading for tips on how to style them!
But first … if you’re new around here, I thought I’d share more about the monthly drops and how they came to be. My “Nordstrom 6” friends and I found each other during the early days of quarantine, and instantly bonded. We started sharing weekly content with you all to make shopping both fun and inspiring during that challenging time. Well, four years later, we’re still at it! And, between daily texts and FaceTime calls, we plan our drops which we share at the beginning of every month. I hope you enjoy them!

#1 Rails dresses
Rails is a favorite brand, especially this time of year! They have beautiful spring dresses that are perfect for many different occasions. Whether you’re looking for an everyday casual dress, a dress for special events or something in between, Rails is a great brand to consider. Look at this animal print one. And, these silky dresses are gorgeous. See below for some more favorites I think you’ll love too!

#2 Shorter trench coats
Shorter trench coats are a micro trend this season, and lately I’ve been spotting them everywhere. They’re flattering on almost everyone, and look stylish with denim skirts and jeans, and even more dressed up with trousers. This new Sam Edelman is a great option, and for a bit of a splurge, consider this Burberry one. Check out a few more options below.

#3 Denim skirts
Denim skirts continue to be one of the hottest trends at the moment, and this new one by Paige is super cute. I really like this new soft beige color as an alternative to denim. This is a style that’s continuing into 2024, and I think a denim skirt is a piece that easily updates your wardrobe.

#4 Mother Denim
Mother Denim is a favorite brand, and many of you love it as well. Recently, I teamed up with my Nordstrom6 friend Danielle and wrote this blog post about what tall and short people can wear. Mother Denim is a brand we can both wear, and recently Mother launched their petite line called Lil’ Mother. Talk about a game changer for someone that’s 5’4″ and under! Favorite fits include: Insider, Hustler, Roller and Weekend.
#5 Neutral sandals
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I love neutral sandals! The biggest reason is that they work with pretty much every single outfit. Find a pair (or two) you love, and make sure they compliment your skin tone. Then, they’ll kind of disappear, and pretty much any outfit will work from there.
#6 Striped shirts
This is a style you’ll wear all year long. The one we chose for this month’s drop is by Favorite Daughter. I tried it on today, and decided it would be way too cropped for most of us, so I made a substitution with this one. If you prefer a regular length shirt, check out these below that I found for you.
