Welcome to the February drop: 6 pieces you need now!
This week, my Nordstrom Stylist friends and I announced our February “N6 Drop” (a monthly drop of six of our favorite, best-selling items). We selected our favorite dress, a stylish jean, a super cute bag under $500, and the hottest shoe trend for 2024. Today’s post is about making good, solid everyday outfits, and the six pieces that will help you put them all together. They’re stylish, very wearable, and I’m sure you’ll love them. Keep reading to see what they are, and of course, how to style them!
But first … in case you’re new around here, I thought I’d share more about the monthly drops and how they came to be. My “Nordstrom 6” friends and I found each other during the early days of quarantine, and instantly bonded. We started sharing weekly content with you all to make shopping both fun and inspiring during that challenging time. Well, four years later we’re still at it, and between daily texts and FaceTime calls, we plan our monthly drops, which we share at the beginning of every month. I hope you enjoy them!

#1 Farm Rio dresses
The Brazilian brand Farm Rio is a favorite, and I regularly check their website to see what’s new. Their collections are always so colorful and happy, and the dresses fit nicely too! This is the time of year when Farm Rio shines. Check out these new dresses I found, here, and here.

#2 Jacket cardigans
Right now, jacket cardigans are everywhere — and they’re so versatile and chic! You can pair them with your favorite jeans, or drape them over your shoulders for extra warmth. I love these from J.Crew, and this one by ba&sh is a best-seller that comes in a pretty shade of blue or basic black. See below for a few styling ideas.

#3 Veronica Beard Coralee top
This is one of my favorite tops! It’s super flattering, and the puff sleeve detail is really pretty. It’s available in several options, including this gorgeous new blue color, this one with eyelet sleeves and this brand new crew style. All SO good!
#4 Cute bags under $500
A good handbag literally completes your entire outfit. I talk a lot about “finishing pieces,” and this is one of them. You can splurge here since you’ll wear it over and over again, but sometimes affordable bags look just as good 😉 I just noticed that Veronica Beard launched a brand new handbag collection, which is well-priced and super stylish. I LOVE this tote! Below are some nice ones for under $500.
#5 Frame Le Slim Palazzo
This wide-leg jean is SO good — and it’s the perfect update for Spring 2024! There are many options (which you can see here and here), and they’re even offering this cool new style in petite sizes which you can find here and here.
#6 Kitten heel slingbacks
A lower heel slingback shoe is the style to own at the moment. Easy and a little bit sexy, they make any pant, skirt or dress look super stylish. This Miu Miu style with the buckles is an Instagram favorite, and lucky us, we can find versions here and here. Get a pair you love and update pretty much every outfit in your wardrobe!
