My most popular style trick: Read it here!

Nothing feels more like spring (and summer) than a clean palette of all-white essentials! Whether it’s a simple white shirt or a head-to-toe white outfit, this minimalistic yet stylish color is the ideal choice for a clean, fresh look. Since many of us are buying more thoughtfully these days, we want to make sure the pieces we do purchase have longevity and can be worn multiple ways.

One of my most popular style tricks has been to start with one or two white pieces, then add the rest: blazers/jackets, accessories and shoes. You can literally make hundreds of outfits if you begin with something white. And, you’ll always look sophisticated and classy; wearing white is a great way to level up your entire outfit! Click here to see the Reels video demonstrating the versatility of white on white!

Today on the blog, I’m talking about 8 white essentials that are easy, effortless go-to’s. They’re all available on Nordstrom.com, and you’ll live in them all spring and summer … and beyond. While you likely already own these key pieces, sometimes they do need a little refresh! I replace white jeans and white tees every year since they are some of the most worn pieces in my wardrobe. Here’s a recap of some of the very best white pieces everyone should own, along with some new favorite finds to consider, I’m certain you’ll love them!

P.S. Did you know there’s a shopping app called ShopLTK? I post there regularly, you can find my page here. Often, it’s exclusive content that you won’t find on the blog. Moving ahead, I’ll be posting even more on my ShopLTK page — it’s easy to shop, trust me! #1 Classic White jeans

In my opinion, white jeans are the key to making cute spring outfits. Yes, it can be tricky to find the right ones, but it’s worth the effort. Lately I’ve been wearing these Mother Hustlers and these Mother Insiders (in ecru) non-stop! I’ve also tried the Paige Claudine, and these by Frame. Check out this new wide-leg style by Paige which has already sold out at Nordstrom. Oh, and don’t forget your thong 😉

#2 Pretty white tops

Veronica Beard white top | Levi’s | Michele watch

This year, there are many pretty white tops available, like this puff-sleeved style I’m wearing above. It keeps selling out, but it’s back in stock, so don’t wait on this one! There’s also this Rails one, and this one too. Add a couple to your collection — it’s a nice update to all your spring basics.

#3 Easy White dresses

Eyelet dress, similar here and here | Sandals

White dresses are another spring and summer favorite. The accessorizing options are plentiful, and pretty much any sandal works, from a gorgeous neutral one like this to a simple block heel style like this. Add a cool straw or canvas bag and a cute pair of sunnies to finish the look. I just ordered this shirt style that I’ll be wearing all season. I also LOVE this one by Rails … see if you like any of these, and add one or two to your collection so you have an easy choice when getting dressed.

#4 Popular White sneakers

Cinq A Sept blazer | White jeans | Alexander McQueen sneakers | YSL tote

White sneakers are a year-round staple, and go with everything from casual dresses to faded blue jeans to joggers. Veja and Golden Goose are favorites, but also consider this one from Paul Green, as well as this reasonably priced pair from Sam Edelman. Also, I recently wrote about the “it” sneakers by Alexander McQueen. I have them and find them comfortable, but full disclosure, some think they’re uncomfortable. So, if you have sensitive feet, they’re probably a style you should skip. However, many people have told me they broke them in and now they love them!

#5 White jackets and blazers

White jackets are very versatile and always elevate your look. Try a blazer like this favorite Cinq á Sept, which is available in several colors, including the soft white I’m wearing. Also look at this summer weight Rails one, it’s a great option as well. Here are a few other options I think you might like.

#6 Essential White tees and tanks

Left: ATM t-shirt | Right: Michael Stars Paloma tank

This is probably the number one item that needs to be replaced — more than any others. Between stains and tiny little holes, our t-shirts get lots of use. My top two favorite tees are the ATM schoolboy t-shirt, and this one by Frame. I know they’re a little spendy, but they’re worth the splurge! If you like linen, this one is a favorite.  For tanks, this Michael Stars one is great. These tanks by AGOLDE always sell out too!

#7 The piece of the moment: Button up shirts

Left: Frank & Eileen shirt dress | Sandals | Tote | Right: White button up | Denim | YSL tote

Classic white shirts are super versatile, and are really hot at the moment. Look for ones that are slightly oversized and not too perfect. I’ve worn this one by Frank & Eileen non-stop, and just wrote about it a few days ago in this post. I’ve found that it definitely an all-season shirt. You’ll likely love the Kayla oversized shirts by Citizen of Humanity, and this gauze one by Rails is a top seller — perfect to tie over a slipdress for a more casual look. I had to mention this new white shirt dress I’m wearing above, it’s a good one too! Find one you love, and you’ll be able to wear it with almost everything you own!

#8 Trending tennis whites
