New arrivals this week!
I love all the new arrivals that come at the start of a new season, it’s one of the many thrills of working in the fashion world. It’s something I’ve looked forward to my entire career! These days, you can find me scouring my favorite websites every single day to select the very best for you. New things roll in daily, and while I do often talk about adding the right pieces (which is necessary for making your outfits come together), every now and then it’s okay to grab something you love — just for fun 🙌🏼
Today’s post is about what I found for you: new arrivals this week. There were many items so I narrowed it down quite a bit, but they’re all great pieces. Keep in mind, I’m very particular as to what will make the list. These are all things I’d love to purchase myself — if I could!
P.S. Who knew skinny jeans could be so divisive! When I published this Instagram post I didn’t realize it would be such a sensitive topic 😂 I spent years in the Nordstrom dressing room, and every client I ever helped appreciated a little nudge when it came to updating wardrobes. Even back in early 2020, I was rarely selling skinny jeans. Everyone I helped was graduating to a slim straight leg jean, which is only slightly wider than the skinny jean. So, to clarify, keep a skinny or two! Wear them with oversized poplin shirts and jackets, or pair them with sneakers, or with boots for a chic look. I wholeheartedly agree that we should ALWAYS wear what makes us feel good. But, I still contend that the denim styles to purchase in 2023 are anything but a skinny 💙
