Personal favorites I think you’ll love from the NSale!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has begun, and whether you’ve started shopping or you’re working on your wishlists, there are some really good finds out there! It’s a time to make careful, thoughtful purchases, and to make sure the pieces you buy combine to make many different outfits. And speaking of great outfits, it’s also a good opportunity to pick up those key pieces that are the backbone of every good wardrobe. So keep reading to see some personal favorites you’ll love from the NSALE!!
I’ve purchased many of these favorites (or I already own them and love them) in keeping with my promise to you to only recommend those things I’ve tested or worn myself. I’m also including several items that aren’t on the sale, but that are must-haves for everyone. Trust me, you’ll be glad you have them!

Papinnelle robe | Wacoal Strapless Red Carpet bra
Now is the time to stock up on basics, and the lingerie department is full of the best items. Wacoal is a personal favorite brand and the best-selling Red Carpet Strapless bra is on sale, along with my everyday go-to Softly Styled Bra! If you like a sexy bra, this Natori Feathers is the best gets great ratings. If you’re looking for a robe this one by Papinnelle is a favorite brand. I wore mine so much I finally threw it the garbage – it had seen better days 🙂 They’re silk/cotton, lightweight, and luxurious, check them out here. Barefoot Dreams blankets and pretty much everything make the best gifts, and although the Le Labo lingerie wash isn’t on sale, it’s so luxurious and smells amazing!

The cami that looks expensive
This inexpensive, bra-friendly cami is one of my favorites. It looks way more expensive than it is, and is the perfect layering piece — try both colors!

Soft 100% cashmere sweaters

Probably one of the top sale items to purchase is this Nordstrom cashmere sweater for $89.90! I own it in several colors, and wear it in winter almost like a t-shirt. This Vince cardigan is another good one, and is available in camel and navy. It works nicely with white denim now and with darker denim in the fall. Lastly, a good cashmere hoodie is a key layering piece under jackets and puffer coats or vests. This cashmere blend one in soft green is perfect. All of these are currently in stock, so grab them while you can!

The denim is really good this year, and the brands to look at are Frame, Mother, Paige and AG. The AG Prima is a top seller, and you can see in this Reels video, it fits many body shapes! The boot selection on the Anniversary Sale looks AMAZING this year — the best it has been in several years. I’m pretty picky when it comes to shoes, and believe in purchasing things like boots carefully, since the season is still a couple of months away. Some favorite boots include the L’Agence bootie, Paul Green (they sold out last year), this wedge by Rag & Bone, and of course the Stuart Weitzman OTK boots which are updated with the cool sole.
Tried & True basics

These are the regular priced basics that work most seasons, and for most everyone! Personal favorites include this Frame pant (one of my top choices in the entire store), and I suggest it to almost all my clients. I also think a classic black blouse like the Vince one is a must for everyone’s closet (assuming black works with your skin tone). Black always looks elegant and polished. And you can never go wrong with black on black 😉
