I love helping my dear friends and clients select the very best items on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. After all, it can be a little overwhelming (and exciting) because, well … we all love a good deal. So check your closets and see what you need — then get ready to have some fun!
Why is the Anniversary Sale a big deal? Because it’s brand new fall merchandise, on sale before the season even starts, and it gets marked back up in a few weeks. So, now is the time to buy the main pieces for your fall wardrobe!
The #1 strategy is to focus on those items that are most likely to sell out. Some customer favorites literally sell out the first day, and sometimes they don’t get restocked. Today’s post is about the top 10 items I think are worth grabbing before they’re gone. Don’t wait … buy them as soon as you can!

So many of us love Veronica Beard, and the Miller Dickey Jacket is an all-time favorite blazer. While it’s not on the NSale, it’s now available in black and navy with button options (look here for details). This Lebone pant, jacket and blouse in merlot is so beautiful, and the pants fit nicely. Vince is always a favorite, and this year my top categories by Vince are sweaters, blouses and dresses. Also, the best-selling Vince slipdress is on the sale in both black and navy! Run and buy this, trust me it’s so good — and everyone loves it. For reference, I wear an XS and had mine hemmed. And, it’s cut on the bias, so it’s really flattering. This is the year of the cami and slip skirt! And, if you don’t already own this cropped legging, now is the perfect time to try it because it’s amazing. It’s not on sale, but it’ll go with every single thing you own. Finally, check out this Vince blouse, this cardigan and this matching jacket and pant.

#3 The best of shoes and boots
The boot selection on the Anniversary Sale looks AMAZING this year — the best it has been in several years. I’m pretty picky when it comes to shoes, and believe in purchasing things like boots carefully, since the season is still a couple of months away. Some favorite boots include the L’Agence bootie, Paul Green (they sold out last year), this wedge by Rag & Bone, and of course the Stuart Weitzman OTK boots which are updated with the cool sole. If you’re looking for sandals, check out these Sam Edelmans, these L’Agence and this one by Paige. All SO good. The sneaker assortment is also really good, LOVE this Rag & Bone and all the P448 styles!

#4 Fall/Winter Coats
Coats are one of the single best things to grab on this sale when you find one you like. The prices are incredible — not that different from when I was a coat buyer several decades ago 🙂 Last year, this Halogen one sold out and this year it’s back in GREEN, so don’t wait! There are several camel coats, and I predict they will sell out as well. I love the Reiss one, this Ted Baker and Max Mara. If you want a brightly colored coat, look at this one by Boss, and this one by Avec Le Filles. There’s everything from puffers to cool leather coats to puffers. You just can’t go wrong with anything!

#5 Favorite denim
Denim is always a great buy on the Anniversary Sale, and the good news is, this year the selection is REALLY GREAT! All the styles below are tried and true, so you can’t go wrong. These are jeans you’ll year all the time from here on out, so stock up and you’ll be really happy you did! Here are my favorite brands and fits for 2022:

AllSaints is always a favorite brand, and their leather jackets are the best. They can be a little spendy though, so NOW is the time to buy one … and you gotta act quickly because they sell out every year! Their sweaters are also super cool and a little edgy, which makes them extra stylish with denim. Try this asymmetrical style — it adds interest to your denim and booties. Other pieces I love include this dress and this cami — so pretty.

#7 L’Agence
I’m going to vote for L’Agence as one of my favorite brands over the past year! The styling is current, and the pieces fit so nicely. Last year the blazer sold out, and I’m predicting this year’s will as well. Both blouses — the chain print and the floral — are so beautiful, and I tried them both on. Finally, the shoes and boots as I mentioned above are so good, you’ll be so happy to have them once the fall season starts!

#8 Sparkly jewelry
A couple of years ago, I bought this Poppy Finch necklace at the Anniversary Sale and I’ve worn it almost every day since -this year, I have my eye on this one. Now is a good time to treat yourself to a special piece of jewelry, ideally something you’ll wear all the time. Every year, Michele watches sell out, and if you want to splurge on a Michele watch, now’s your chance. I’ve worn mine DAILY for the last 8 + years, and I still absolutely love it! Bony Levy is a brand I get excited about when it’s 25% off, and I have my eye on this bracelet. Monica Vinader is also a beautiful jewelry brand. Based out of the UK, I you might like this bracelet and these earrings.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know my love for the Paige brand, especially denim, sportswear and shoes. This year, I recommend everything in the style boards below (side note, I never show anything I don’t love)! I predict these sandals, these mules, an all the blouses will sell out, and so will the jeans. This sweater is the prettiest color and is a tiny bit sexy. Grab it while you can!
