Look at what I found for you: All new from LA!

I’m feeling a little guilty writing this blog post from sunny LA, since my family is home with 8″ of snow on the ground 😂 Sounds a bit crazy given that it’s April, but thankfully everyone is ok 🙂 Meanwhile, I’m loving every second of this trend shopping trip, doing “blog research” and finding some of the best things for all of you. Between popping into the coolest stores on Melrose Place — favorites include L’Agence, Veronica Beard, Serena & Lily and Frame Denim — and eating my way through West Hollywood, I have some fun things to share!

Today’s post is everything that caught my eye while on my trend shopping getaway — both on the internet and in stores. I’ve added in a little street style inspo as well, since there is plenty of that to go around in LA 😉 All items below are brand new and perfect for spring. L'Agence silk shirt dress
L'Agence was one of my favorite brands spotted on this trip. It keeps looking better and better, and the cute little store on Melrose Place was buzzing. This gorgeous dress will work for many different events, including a beachy wedding or even a casual outside summer party with a simple flat sandal.

Schutz sandal
When I was visiting the Saks store in Beverly Hills, I spotted Manolo Blahnik sandals that are an exact version of these -- except these are $118! I own them, and they work with absolutely everything. Dresses or denim, it's the perfect sandal.

Farm Rio dress
This is another great party dress and very well-priced at $230! It also comes in bright yellow and bright pink. Don't worry about the little cut-out (I'm over this trend)! I tried it and if you cinch it, it closes up nicely.

Another fun find I spotted at Neiman Marcus. I'm in love with this cute canvas bag, and the gold chain detail makes it extra special. Try this with a white summery dress, or any of the bright ones listed in this post -- so pretty!

Rails is my favorite brand when it comes to summer dresses. If you're worried about your arms, take my tip and throw a lightweight sweater over your shoulders. It feels just a little more covered up!

Straw bags under $200
I've been asked for cute straw bags under $200, and these four just made the cut. I saw the one with the pom pom tassels at the LA Nordstrom, and same with the J.Crew one. All great options, and you'll wear them all spring and summer.

I'm always looking for pretty white tops, and this one is perfect. I'm wearing it today while writing the blog. It's casual, comfortable and perfect for warm weather.

Frame Mini Crop jeans
I'm also wearing these jeans today with the white Rails top above. These jeans will be a go-to this summer when the weather is warm. They're lightweight, and the faded wash makes them the perfect summer denim Just before leaving Portland, my son Jake helped me cut and fray them!

I know this bracelet is a spurge, but wow did it catch my eye. I'm always looking for a cool bracelet that will layer nicely with all the pretty gold ones many of us have!

Gucci sandals
I adore these sandals, and just can't stop thinking about them. I tried them on in the Gucci store on Rodeo Drive and again at Nordstrom! They're flattering on the foot and they're the perfect heel height. Plus, they work with everything from dresses to jeans. I think this is the color I'll add to my sandal collection!

Another gorgeous dress by L'Agence! The colors are so fresh, and I can see this one being dressed up or down. It's a pre-order, but I've been noticing the best dresses sell out quickly, even on pre-order -- so don't wait.

I finally found a new hat! My friend has been telling me for the last year it's time for a new baseball hat. I guess I have been wearing the black NY Yankees one too much!! I wore this one today; the color is right on-trend, and I'll wear it all summer.

I love this fun bag, and how pretty is this green? The gold chain is a nice touch and the shade of green is surprisingly versatile.

These vases are SO fabulous! The white banding is a nice touch, and it hides the bottom of the branches which sometimes don't look that great. Clever!

I noticed this cardigan today on Shopbop and it's part of their Sale Style Event. I've used it several times on style boards with the Vince slipdress. It's a perfect summer cardigan with any dress you might have in your closet.

I have this dress in my shopping cart. If you have a sunny vacation on the horizon, this would be a good choice. If you're under 5'4", it's also available in petite sizes.

Another cute Gucci sandal because it's a slimmer espadrille, which is more flattering on the foot. I find that some can be a little too clunky! This one will go with everything.
