These fashion brands nail it every time 🙌🏻
One of the best parts of my job is scouring the internet looking for great finds to share with all of you! After being in the fashion business for as long as I have, I’ve seen many brands come and go … and they can look better in some seasons than in others. For example, Banana Republic hadn’t really been on my radar in recent years, but according to an article in Retail Dive last September, they were revamping the brand and “going back to their roots.” So, a couple of weeks later, I popped into Banana Republic in Soho, NYC, and I was completely blown away! The store concept was super cool, and they had an amazing selection of clothing — it was definitely one of my favorite stores in the city. This sweater has been a favorite all season long, and there’s also this shirt dress, this flowy trench, and so much more!
While some brands make a successful comeback, others manage to always produce stylish, on trend items. Today’s post is about the fashion brands that nail it every time — and I think they’re looking SO good! Keep reading to see my hot, new picks and also get some style board inspo. Banana Republic
As I mentioned above, Banana Republic is looking really good these days. I routinely make “the rounds” at Banana, and I’m always looking for the latest dresses, jackets and blazers. Right now, I love this shirt dress, this gauzy one, this striped sweater and this stylish, oversized blazer. If you need an outerwear piece, this flowy trench looks good with everything!

There are many bright colors on the BR website, and this dress caught my eye. It’s the same version of this pricier Zimmerman one.
This print dress, available in a shorter style and a longer midi-length, is reminiscent of a Johanna Ortiz style. The print is sophisticated, and it looks more expensive than it is!
If you’re looking for a simple shirt dress, this one is really good. My friend styled it several different ways, including keeping it open and using it as a duster jacket — so clever. There’s also this popover shirt dress that comes in several colors — it’s cute!
This past winter I purchased this striped sweater, which many of you loved, and this spring version. There’s also a zip you might like.
Veronica Beard
Veronica Beard has been one of my favorite brands for years. Their designs just keep getting better, and their stores are like little jewel boxes — each one individually designed. I was fortunate to attend an exclusive Nordstrom event several years ago to listen to the two Veronicas share their story (check it out here). The Scuba Dickey jacket is their signature piece, with the clever hidden zippers allowing the dickeys to be zipped in. Since then, the Miller Dickey Jacket has surpassed the Scuba to become the top seller. But it doesn’t stop there — the dresses are incredible, and the pants have a flattering fit (you’ll love this one and this one). Of course, pretty much every blazer is amazing!

I noticed this pretty yellow one-shoulder dress in today’s new arrivals. There’s also a shorter style and a skirt — love, love, love it all!

Veronica Beard dresses are favorites, and currently I love this shirt style and this one too. If you have a special event, this sequined dress and top are showstoppers!
I recently added this sparkly shoe to my own collection, and it goes with everything! Some new ones I spotted include this metallic one, this flat style and this gold sandal. All SO good!
J.Crew
Last month I was tapping my fingers waiting for new arrivals — hah! Well, they finally arrived, and I shared quite a few of them in this video (you can shop the LTK posts here). J.Crew is one of my go-to brands, and I always look for specific spring items, like simple dresses, easy sweaters (like this and this), blazers, and of course everything from the swim shop. Currently I’m eyeing this brand new dress, this cool green handbag, and this poplin top — all perfect for spring!

I’ve been getting questions about this oversized denim jacket — it runs roomy, and I probably should have gone with the XXS. It’s a good one, and the light wash is perfect for spring
I noticed this 1/2 zip sport dress which would be perfect for tennis or pickleball! Also look at this summer sweater — the updated polo style is so chic
Vince
Vince is one of the more playful brands out there, and right now, all these fun orange pieces are catching my eye. Orange is definitely the trending color for spring 2022! I love the dress below, and this top is an easy way to add orange to your outfit. I always look to Vince for their dress selection, and this best-selling, all-time favorite slip dress is now available in orange as well as a pretty mint green!

Love this slipdress! I brought my black one to California — I actually bring it on most every trip. It’s so versatile, and it’s also flattering since it’s cut on the bias. Look at this pretty orange, and this trending mint green color
Vince makes some of my favorite shoes, and I love the perfect heel height sandal. This new all-white wedge sneaker and this strappy sandal are all comfortable and easy to wear
Vince does an incredible job of designing blouses in my opinion, and this pretty floral one is sophisticated and looks amazing with flared denim. I also love this new cotton style, and this shorter one too.
Stuart Weitzman
Stuart Weitzman is one of the most popular shoe brands, and they have been a go-to for a long time. There were a few years when the selection wasn’t great, and not many new styles caught my eye … but now, there are many many great options! Last spring, I purchased this sandal, and clearly it was a winner, because it’s now available in many colors and versions. In fact, there are so many good ones, I had a hard time narrowing it down. I could probably have built my entire wardrobe around all these fun shoes. They’re stylish and pretty!

For a dressier go-with-everything sandal, this style is the one to look at. They’re comfortable, and they work with dresses and denim.
This knotted sandal reminds me of a Jimmy Choo from last year. It comes in the prettiest green (on my wish list), a soft gold, and of course, black.
Flat slide sandals are a summer go-to, and these new white ones, or these denim slides, are both available in other colors. These are all you need for to complete any cute outfit!
