I try REALLY, REALLY hard to make careful, thoughtful purchases. Since Iโm in the business, and everyday thereโs something new, itโs very important to be selective. Itโs called editing, and itโs quite difficult at times! This is the โdownside of being a personal stylistโ (I wrote about it here). But itโs worth it, and Iโm sharing with you the best purchases of 2019 that I know youโll love as well. Iโm constantly telling all of you to buy this and buy that, and so when I say โtrust meโ or โthis is so good,โ I really mean it! My promise on this blogging journey is to always be genuine and authentic.
So, looking back on 2019, there are 10 items that I love so much that I have to recommend them all to you. They have worked perfectly on multiple occasions, with many outfits. And I guarantee you will wear these 10 items again in 2020. Any of these pieces will complement your wardrobes, and youโll be very happy with your purchases!
#1 Gucci Mini Marmont bag

Iโve been making fun of those eensy little bags seen all over my Pinterest feed, and wondering to myself: ย who would purchase such a tiny bag? Well, I did! It was an unplanned purchase, but after my dear friend in the Gucci boutique told me how much she loved hers, and how it can even be turned into a belt bag, well โฆ sold. ย And just to be sure, I watched a YouTube review and was surprised at how much actually fit in this tiny little bag. Iโve worn it over and over and over!
#2ย Chelsea 28 sundress/cover-up
This dress is actually a cover-up, but I wore it all summer around the house and even out for dinner during our trip to Italy. For only $89, it was a great purchase, and I can hardly wait to wear it again on our next sunny vacation.ย Available here in a couple of colors, I highly recommend this for anyone!
#3 Rag & Bone blazer

This cozy blazer that feels like a sweater but looks like a blazer is a bit of a splurge. But, considering it works all seasons and is super versatile, it earns a top spot in my closet. It comes in several colors, but my suggestion is black or navy since these two colors work perfectly as we head into the new year!
#4 Vuori joggers

Surely if youโve been following me, you likely own these already. But just in case you donโt, then rush out NOW and buy them! I keep going on and on about these and really, theyโre just so good. A friend had texted saying she was hesitant about them, but finally she purchased them, and all she wrote was “OMG!”
#5 Poppy Finch necklace and Prada pumps

I snuck in an extra โbest purchase all yearโ because theyโre both so good! You’ve probably noticed by now thatย this necklace and these pumps are in almost every photo I take. Iโm not sure Iโve ever had a pair of shoes that are this versatile AND comfy. If you decide to splurge on either (or both) of these favorites, Iโm sure you’ll wear them over and over and over again!
#6 Valentino sandals

Pretty much the only sandal I wore all summer long! Yes they were a splurge, but considering I felt extra pretty in every single summer outfit from a swim suit to jeans to a summer dress, these sandals were worth it. If you have a sunny vacation planned for next year, Iโd purchase these gems right away!
#7 Charlotte Tilbury makeup

Typically I prefer to purchase makeup from different beauty counters, making sure to get the best of the best. And while I still do that, Charlotte Tilbury has a handful of my favorite products. For starters, the Magic Cream is a hit, I even noticed my son dipping into it, and now itโs empty! The Flawless Finish powder is like Instagram for your face, and Iโve gone through several jars already. And finally there are the lipsticks: two all-time favorites are Kidmanโs Kiss and Pillowtalk. #8 J.Crew packable hat
This straw hat is priceless, mainly because if you have OOC hair like I do, then you understand the importance of having a hat! ๐ And of course, thereโs the sun protection aspect as well. This hat is packable which is an added bonus. Any vacation calls for flip flops and this hat. Youโll thank me later!
#9 Levi Icon Wedgie jean
These Leviโs continue to be a hot item in all age groups. Sometimes jeans can be a little tricky, which is why Iโm so excited about this style. Theyโre a little slimmer, and theyโve just been restocked. You will wear this classic brand every day!
#10 The best $69.00 youโll spend: the Halogenย cardigan

This is by far one of the most worn items in my closet. Itโs one of those standards in my wardrobe that hasย become soย routine, I donโt even think about it โ I just put it on. And Iโm not the only one โฆ everyone else loves it too, based on 965 almost five-star ratings!
