gingham check trouser, worn three ways

denim jacket, Theory check pant, Balenciaga slingback shoes, Staud bag, Gucci scarf

My latest purchase is this Theory gingham check pant.  It’s surprisingly easy to wear because of the blue/black pattern.  It works perfectly with all the black pieces in my closet, and the endless denim jackets I’ve collected over the years.  Added bonus … with 9% stretch, it really holds you in, and who doesn’t love that?

My suggestion?  Add a check (or a plaid) pant to your wardrobe this season, and you will be very happy you did. Why? Because they are a year round staple, incredibly versatile and super stylish.  And, you can pair them with just about anything: a blazer, a denim or leather jacket, even a sweatshirt and sneakers – the list is endless.

See below for my check pant edit, and for ideas on styling these awesome pants.
