Welcome to the August Nordstrom Monthly Drop! Today’s post features six brand-new fall pieces that just landed. I carefully selected each one, and I think you’ll love them as much as I do. These styles are versatile, super stylish and they’ll make the best pre-fall outfits — I guarantee you’ll wear them all season long.

Of course, I will give you my honest thoughts on all six pieces, and why each one earned a spot in this month’s drop. This month, I picked a stunning slip skirt, a new leather jacket that adds just the right amount of edge, and a basic turtleneck sweater that brings elegance to everything. I also found a great shoe, a classic black bag, and a new favorite jean that’s super flattering and works with just about any shoes you might have. 1- Rag & Bone faux leather jacket – This one caught my eye, it’s just so sleek! I can imagine many outfits put together around this super cool jacket. Full disclosure, I haven’t seen this one on, but I hear it’s incredible.

2 – Veronica Beard turtleneck sweater – A classic sleeveless turtleneck sweater always looks elegant. You can wear it with skirts, trousers (add a cool belt), and of course, your favorite denim. This one is a best-seller and I highly recommend it.

3 – AGOLDE jeans – The Harper jean is a personal favorite that I absolutely love. It’s a classic straight leg style that’s super easy to wear with both sandals and boots. Light faded blue looks great any time of year, and this wash in particular is really good.

4 – Veronica Beard slip skirt – First of all, how gorgeous is this new slip skirt? The colors — baby blue, soft white and neutral tan — lend themselves to creating many different outfits.

5 – Khaite handbag – Khaite is another really cool brand, and while some of the bags are a big splurge, many other brands are kind of copying them.

6 – Ziger sandals – I’ve been considering these Veronica Beard sandals — they’re a little edgy. If you want something a bit more toned down, they also come in black.
