Happy Saturday! After a very productive and fun solo trip to NYC, I’m home and looking forward to sharing all my summer finds. The weather was a little crazy, but I still managed to wear all my cute outfits, and it didn’t stop me from shopping and eating my way through the city 😂 I managed to get a spot at Via Carota one night, and the next night I met a friend at Fouquet’s (my hotel) for dinner. I also wandered through SoHo and popped in and out of stores, and took lots of notes on summer favorites. Stay tuned for my upcoming NYC post!

While I was away, my friend Allison and her amazing team worked a little magic on my back patio. It’s looking really great —  it’s incredible what a few new accessories can do to give a patio new life. I walked into a calm and beautiful space, with all my pots planted! There was also these new outdoor lanterns, the cutest green cordless lights, along with this new rug, and these planters that are sprinkled everywhere. If you want to see all her inspo for my project, she wrote about it here.

I mentioned above about wearing my cute outfits — it’s always fun having a reason to dress up! I wore this Tuckernuck dress out to dinner, as well as this pretty green one. For casual days just wandering around the city, I wore this Frame cardigan and navy pant, as well as this favorite Quince dress with a cashmere cardi over my shoulders. Added this fun red tote and even got a couple of compliments! Sometimes I don’t like what I pack, but this time I did 🙂

This week on Instagram, I shared some of the best summer finds from Evereve. Talk about a store that always gets it right! Take a look at this red dress, and for the 4th, consider wearing it with this flag sweater over your shoulders. They also have crochet pieces in pretty colors, like this Splendid one and this Evereve red one. To see everything I found, click here to see the rack video, and click here to see how I styled it.

Next week, I’m off to San Diego with my Nordstrom stylist friends to preview the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. We’re having a pop-up in the Fashion Valley San Diego store on June 28 from 12-3 pm, and I’d absolutely love to meet you! If you’d like to RSVP, simply reply to this email and I’ll add you to the list. More details to come!

This week’s finds are inspired by the “elevated & casual” style I saw in Palm Beach. The simplicity of this Theory blouse is perfect for dressing up or down… and they just came out with a new slip dress in the same print – so cute! Farm Rio just dropped some new arrivals, and this halter dress is one of my favorite picks. Jelly sandals are trending, and while I don’t love every style, jelly flip-flops like these or these are So Susie approved 😂. Lastly, the Mother jeans I’ve talked about over and over are finally back in stock. My daughter is always trying to steal them from me… they’re that good! More sizes here.

This Week on My Camera Roll: Discovered this cute bistro table on the side of Fouquet’s, and it looked perfect with my new Madewell tote 😉 And a couple shots from the new Printemps store — everywhere you looked was eye candy — and the cosmetics area was cleverly laid out. This is a must-see if you’re in New York City this summer!

Recently, I’ve been making some updates around my home — both indoors and out. Along the way, I’ve found a few amazing pieces I’ve either saved or bought for myself. When it comes to home decor (and fashion!), I love mixing pieces from all different price points. I recently bought these gold place card holders that are just too cute, and these similar scalloped rattan baskets for under $100.

Top 10 Best Selling Summer Finds: This week’s best sellers feel festive, just in time for July 4th. There are many fun summer blouses, like this striped button-up which is currently on sale, or the beloved Henri blouse from Doen (check out this lookalike from Madewell and more sizes here). I recently decided to buy the Madewell tote  (see photo above), and it is absolutely worth the hype. It’s the perfect size, fits all the essentials, and the quality is great. More colors here.

Did you buy anything while you were in NYC? I did 😊 I bought a perfume that I’ve been wanting to try called Portofino by Veronica Beckham. It’s the perfect summer scent, and there’s a shimmer body oil too! I also picked up this Frame polka-dot dress, this Sezane sleeveless button-up and matching trousers

If you could only own one handbag, which would it be? A crossbody bag for sure! For a splurge, the Celine Victoire or the Dior Caro bags. Also love these Tory Burch bags here and here

Favorite one-piece swimsuit? One of my favorite summer finds is this new PQ swimsuit. This sculpting swimsuit is also a great basic, as well as this La Blanca swimsuit

I’m so excited for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! When will you be sharing your picks? I’m excited too! Next week, I’m heading to San Diego for a sneak peak at the Anniversary Sale with my Nordstrom 6 stylist friends. I’ll be sharing my wishlist on June 26th and sharing my first blog post with my top 10 picks on Monday July 7th @9pm (PST).

Any skirts that are summer favorites? Farm Rio has so many colorful skirts for summer (more here), I’m obsessed with this midi skirt from Theory, and my favorite denim skirt is still the L’Agence Tylee.

Do you have any upcoming travel plans? Yes, I’m currently planing a trip to … I don’t know yet haha 😂 but hopefully somewhere in Europe, like Greece or Italy

Fave of the week? I wore this Tuckernuck dress for dinner and it’s honestly the perfect dress for any occasion. Also just picked up this terry polo and matching skirt while I was in NYC that I can’t wait to wear.

Have a great weekend,

Susie xx
