5 Winter Accessories Every Stylish Person Is Wearing Right Now
When it comes to building a beautiful wardrobe, a great collection of accessories is a category that’s often overlooked. And yet, it’s so so important! Consider accessories to be the finishing touch of all your outfits. Beautiful bags and scarves you love always elevate, and it’s a category I think is worth the investment. One very important thing to remember: you have little groupings that work together. For example, a caramel bag is a piece I highly recommend. Then a belt, or a shoe and scarf combo that tie it all together will give you outfit combinations for days!
Today’s post is about the 5 winter accessories every stylish person is wearing right now. I’m talking about trending silk scarves, the coolest belts, beautiful jewelry, and more. Keep reading to see some brand new outfit inspo and the best accessories of the season. I scoured the internet and found some pretty great pieces, and hope you find a thing or two that inspires you!

#1 Silk scarves
Alex Mill jacket – more sizes here | Frame blouse | Frame x Ritz scarf | Jeans – petites here | Prada bag | Belt | Slingbacks
A beautiful scarf (or two) is a purchase you’ll never regret. Not only are they practical this time of year, but they really are the final piece of every winter outfit. Last month while strolling around the pretty streets in Paris, every stylish person was wearing a scarf – mostly I saw beautiful silk ones. I love this Toteme one, and it was my go-to on the trip. See below for some options I’ve spotted recently.
#2 The Piece of the Moment: a Cool Belt
Reiss coat | Farm Rio sweater | Paige coated jeans | Boots | Belt | Bag | Spinelli ring
Belts are definitely trending, so let’s add them back into our wardrobes! Look for ones with studs or cool hardware, or just a classic style. Some ideas are below.
#3 Great Handbags
Reiss coat | Jeans | Cashmere hoodie | Earrings | Loafers | Gucci bag
Handbags can make or break an outfit, and when we’re running around town, they’re one of the first things people notice! I’m not suggesting you need a designer bag, but finding a great bag (or two … or three) that’s versatile and up to date will level up all your outfits.
#4 Beautiful Jewelry: Splurge & Affordable
Veronica Beard coat | Cinq a Sept sweater | Grey jeans | Snakeprint bag | Boots | Watch | Earrings
Lately, all the cool girls are wearing bold earrings in either gold or silver (which is making a comeback). Often I’ll see a beautiful watch or statement bracelet, and that’s it! Simple and elegant. Jewelry brands to look at include Ring Concierge, Heaven Mayhem, Lili Claspe, Mejuri and Jenny Bird.
#5 Hats & Gloves
Fleurette coat | Vince sweater | Vince skirt | Sam Edelman boots | Ulla Johnson gloves | Faux fur hat | Bottega clutch (Amazon version here)
Hat and glove sets are popular right now, and I can see why. These are fun accessories to play around with! And, they can really elevate your outfit — think of all-black with a camel hat and gloves — or they can just be for warmth. Either way, pick up a couple of sets to have on hand for when you’re walking out the door. From leather to cashmere to shearling, you can’t go wrong here. Below are my faves!
