The #1 Most Worn T-Shirt In My Closet … and more!

Writing this fashion blog has been the highlight of my career, and never in a million years did I think I would reach so many people on this little slice of the Internet. A couple of weeks ago, I wandered into the beautiful gardens at the Dior restaurant in St. Tropez, only to have someone say “Susie, I follow you on Instagram.” Wow! Then last year in Paris, while waiting in the longest line ever at the Goyard store, a sweet mom and daughter lined up behind me and, after a few minutes, said “Are you Susie? I read your blog!” I still can’t believe it. This is my life’s work and my happy place, and I’m so so grateful for you all 🤍

The purpose of So Susie has always been to share dressing room experiences that help you put together outfits for everyday life. Whether it’s for a special night out, a luncheon, or just daily errands, I love to show you things that I believe will help you create amazing wardrobes. I’ve had lots of practice in my own closet, and know what matters when it comes to getting dressed. For example, having a go-to black dress, the right shapewear, or the cutest travel outfit on hand makes a big difference!

Last week, after shuffling through my ATM white t-shirt pile (!!), I decided it was time for a refresh. There’s nothing better than a new, sparkly white tee, and if yours gets as much wear as mine, refreshing it every year is a good idea! I’ve gone on and on about this t-shirt, and it’s still a favorite I grab over and over again. It’s arm flattering, and it works with blazers and denim jackets and everything in between. This is one of my highest recommendations, and you can read about it in this post.

I just put 10 things in my shopping cart!

The new Veronica Beard collection looks amazing, and I spotted many things that I quickly added to my cart! Of course, I have to pick and choose, but here’s what caught my eye. This polka dot dress and skirt, this navy silk cami, and this red denim jacket and matching pant. And, I could keep going!

I did a little shopping yesterday and picked up this Naghedi tote which has a nice sheen that gives it a luxe look. I also ordered this Michael Stars brown knit dress after seeing it at Evereve, along with this denim jacket that I used on recent style boards. Read about it all in this recent blog post.
