The Quince Pieces My Friends Won’t Stop Asking Me About!

This past week, I got together with my tennis friends for our annual summer dinner. After covering our kids and life updates, we always turn to food (fall is here: the pumpkin pasta was so good!), our next travel destinations, and of course, clothes! It’s funny — no matter which friend group I’m with, everyone always asks me about Quince.

Today’s post is all about the Quince pieces my friends won’t stop asking me about — the ones I actually own and wear on repeat. I’m also answering a few other questions I get asked a lot: what’s your favorite bra, which straight-leg jeans are you loving right now, do you have a black pant you recommend, and does the de-puffer really work? 1. $49.90 cotton cardigan – Super comfortable, slide slits make it feel relaxed, love the button color, and lots of great colors

2. Scarf coat – I wore the black one often last season, and can’t wait to bring it back out. It’s similar to the Toteme but way less $

3. Loewe-like bag – The iconic puzzle bag is amazing, and since I’ve never splurged on it, I decided to try this one. The color is perfect

4. Structured cardigan – This piece is a little higher priced (for Quince), but the quality is amazing, and it’s a nice expensive-feeling weight. Love the bell sleeves

5. Bella $50 jeans – Who would have thought a $50 pair of jeans could be so good? These are, trust me. I have tried this one and this one, and both are great

6. Washable silk dress – I recommend sizing up and wearing a smoother under, but these dresses are worth every penny. Love the maxi length and this one 7. Cable cardigan – This looks like the Ralph Lauren one without the horse! It sold out, but now it’s back, I’ve worn mine so much

8. Cotton $39.90 crew – Wore this as part of my travel outfit and it works nicely over your shoulders or layered over a white tee. Love the blue color

 

Wacoal Bras That Work a Little Magic

I recently refreshed my own lingerie drawer. You know how it goes, after daily wear, your favorites get stretched out, and no longer do the lifting they once did. Every now and then, I see a photo of myself and can immediately spot when I’m a little saggy 😳 That’s why having the right bra can be better (ish) than a boob job!

1. High Bar – This is a new style that’s meant for everyday comfort. The lace is stretchy and comfortable. It also comes as a wire-free bra for another option

2. Back appeal – Did you know this is the number one selling bra at Nordstrom? It has a wider side and back band, which gives a really nice smoothing effect when wearing t-shirts and sweaters. It’s super comfortable, and really does the trick!

3. La Femme – I’ve gone on and on about this one! It gives a lift and adds a little cleavage (just the right amount), which is nice if you have a lower cut dress or top. It’s still really tasteful

4. Red Carpet Strapless – If you’re looking for the perfect strapless bra, this is the one I recommend. It stays put and it comes with extra convertible straps. Apparently, it’s the best-selling strapless bra in America!

5. Elevated Allure – We all need a little lift, right? Well, this best-selling bra gives up to an inch … yes please

 

Top Straight-leg Jeans Recs

I’ve had several texts lately asking about my current favorite straight-leg jeans. I’m happy to say that slimmer jeans are coming back, and it’s a really nice change. I’m also starting to see ankle length jeans which are also ideal for this time of year. The difference now is that the jeans are a touch looser and straighter. I truly believe that we only need several well-fitting jeans in our closets — the ones we turn to regularly. Some current favorites are below.

DL1961 Halle – Just purchased in this grayish/blackish wash and have been wearing nonstop

Mother Kick-it – Another long length straight leg jean that everyone is loving, and the fit is really good too

Which Black Pants Do I Recommend?

We all need a black pant or two (or three) in our closets, so here are a few I’ve tried and love
