Fouquet’s New York, Tribeca
Put very simply, there’s no place quite like New York City! It’s always exciting, vibrant, and inspirational. In my early twenties, I arrived as a new Nordstrom Buyer, pinching myself at the chance to experience this amazing place. Then life got busy, and I started a family, and didn’t go back for many many years.
Fast forward: So Susie came along … and the need for “blog research” pulled me back to the city.
For the past five years, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting reacquainted with all the unique opportunities it has to offer. Before, I just was in and out for work, and never had time to do much exploring. These days, I can’t get enough of the shopping, street style, and of course, food! And, on my past several trips, I’ve stayed at the same hotel: Fouquet’s New York. It’s one of my all-time favorites — and that’s saying a lot.
In the heart of Tribeca, just up the cobblestone streets and surrounded by cafés and shops, you’ll find Fouquet’s New York. Every detail about this hotel is considered, with art deco interiors and pink décor around every corner. It feels equal parts chic and cozy, and there’s top-tier service, bars & restaurants. You’ll even befriend the sweet bellmen on arrival. So, after some dedicated real-life research, I’m here to give you all my best recommendations on why Fouquet’s should be on your next NYC itinerary.
So Susie Rating: a resounding thumbs up!

My Favorite Room: The Tribeca Corner Suite
We stayed several times in the Tribeca Corner Suite, which feels like living in a NYC fairytale. There’s Schumacher wallpaper, pretty pink decor, and unlimited space for lounging. And, you have ample space to get dressed up, grabbing your best from the overpacked suitcases you probably brought! The bathroom deserves a pause, with marble counter tops, a double vanity, a huge bathtub overlooking the streets of Tribeca. And, of course, the fabulous Diptyque toiletries. It’s all in the details! Even the mini bar is stocked with a Nespresso machine and Lemme gummies. If there’s one hotel I could truly live in, it’s Fouquet’s!
Location, location, location …
In the heart of Tribeca, up the cobblestone streets, you’ll find Fouquet’s. Tribeca has a specific kind of appeal. It feels like New York without the chaos, but still cool enough that you know you’re in New York. Which is exactly what it feels like to stay at this hotel! Walking distance from many local restaurants and SoHo’s best shopping (or a short Uber), and right on the edge of the Hudson River, it feels like everything you need in one place. There’s a mix of creatives, low-key celebrities, families, and people who like good design and good food but don’t need to shout about it. It’s stylish without trying (and the perfect place for people watching).
