These Are The Most Talked-About Fashion Trends of 2026
In the fashion world, this is easily the most exciting time of year! Even though we’re still in the middle of winter, the new season’s deliveries are starting to roll in, and the “it” pieces for 2026 are finally coming into focus. This is what keeps this business so energizing, and honestly — it’s my favorite part of the job. Every morning, I sit down with my coffee and peruse all our favorite websites; everything from SheerLuxe and Who What Wear to the new arrivals at Net-A-Porter and Moda Operandi. It gives me an overview of what’s actually worth the hype, and more importantly, what we can incorporate into our own wardrobes to keep them feeling stylish and current.
Today’s post is all about the most talked-about fashion trends for 2026. They’re incredibly wearable, and easy to mix in with pieces you already own. I’m a big believer in adding just one or two on-trend items — it’s the easiest way to elevate your entire closet. This season, I’m focused on pink and yellow, all things animal print (it’s everywhere!), and of course, the hottest accessory of the year—though you’ll have to read on to find out what that is 😉 Below, I’ve pulled together some style inspo and top picks that are actually worth the investment this year. I hope you love it!

#1 Pink is Already Everywhere!

Pink is one of the most important color trends of 2026, which is exciting for those of us who it 🙂 Soft, pretty pink pairs beautifully with many other colors (especially white, gray, navy and black). It’s very easy to incorporate a piece or two into your wardrobe, and there are many great options available right now.
What’s caught my eye: This polo sweater from J.Crew, this cool nylon Burberry jacket, this blazer & matching pant, and this coat
#2 Ballet Flats

Ballet flats are definitely trending this season. In addition to classic styles, look for updated versions with V-cut shapes, different textures, and even glove-like silhouettes. See below for the perfect flats you’ll wear all season long.
What’s caught my eye: This suede v-cut flat, these woven ones, this Chanel lookalike, and these slingbacks
#3 Snake Print

Just the other day, I included some cool new snake print pieces in the February Nordstrom Drop. While it’s trending this year, I kind of think that it never goes out of style (just like animal print). It adds the perfect amount of pattern to soft whites, grays, blacks and pinks (my favorite combo).
What’s caught my eye: I just ordered this pouch and these low heeled sandals that can be worn many different ways. Also spotted this Frame cardigan and blouse, and this belt
#4 Stripes

Stripes are always in style, and this season you’ll see striped sweaters, scarves, tees and more. See below for some new favorites you might like!
What’s caught my eye: This Pistola sweater is a best seller, this Frame popover top, this Veronica Beard t-shirt dress, this pink F&E button up, this linen dress from Tuckernuck
#5 Butter Yellow

Butter yellow was trending last season, and now it’s back! I just picked up a couple of pieces myself (since I missed out last summer), and this Alo sweatshirt is one of them. If you layer this butter yellow shirt jacket over it, you’ll be cozy until it warms up. This lightweight jacket with a stand collar is perfect with faded denim or white.
What’s caught my eye: This floral top from Reformation, this fluffy sweater cardi from Sezane, this sweatshirt, and this short sleeved polo
#6 Printed Silk Scarves

I’m seeing many chic women — of all ages — wearing silky printed scarves. Of course, you can go classic with an Hermès or Dior scarf, but you can also find more affordable options like this gorgeous Tuckernuck one. See below for some others that are brand new favorites.
What’s caught my eye: This one from Le Scarf, a polka dot scarf from Ralph Lauren, this pretty floral Gucci scarf, and this Amazon one
#7 Animal Print

Usually we think of animal print in terms of leopard, but this season anything goes. From cool zebra prints to the trending cow print and more — find one you love, and you’ll wear it all season long.
What’s caught my eye: This zebra cover up shirt and matching pant, this YSL handbag,
#8 Stand Collar Jackets

It’s so fascinating that a detail like a stand-neck collar jacket would such create a fuss! But the truth is, everything feels new and fresh. In addition to trench coats, there are leather jackets, casual nylon styles, and the list goes on. So stylish!
What’s caught my eye: This one from Aritzia, this Sanctuary jacket (I have and love) that looks like the Chloe one (petites here), this AllSaints leather one,
#9 Statement Necklaces

Long pendant necklaces are back, and the bigger the better! The brand Julietta is super cool; her signature pieces include this shell necklace (which I own and love) and this tassel necklace. Add one to almost every outfit, and you’ll feel that much more stylish 🙂
What’s caught my eye: Dorsey is another great brand — absolutely love this necklace. Also look at Lizzie Fortunato — Emily has this necklace that I plan on swiping from her. Heaven Mayhem has many options as well, like these earrings and this designer-inspired watch. Brinker & Eliza is another favorite brand, and this bracelet is amazing.
#10 Feather Details

Feathers are really fun! You can find anything from dresses to accessories to cool feather brooches (I just purchased this one for a blazer). I’ve even seen bags and feather jackets.
What’s caught my eye: This Tanya Taylor button-up (more colors here), this sequin dress, and this white shirt
