J.Crew bubble hem – I wore the lilac button front cardigan three days in a row after purchasing it. That’s when you know it’s a good one! It’s super lightweight, gently oversized and super comfortable. It comes in a pretty pointelle version here.
Lilysilk turtleneck – Bought this striped sweater a couple of years ago, and after discovering a hole, I bought a second one. It’s a simple sweater you’ll always feel good in. I can’t wait to start wearing mine once the weather cools down. Vince boiled wool cashmere funnel neck – This sweater has been around for awhile, and everyone I know who has purchased it absolutely loves it. It’s probably the one black sweater I always reach for. It’s a little longer, which is really flattering with slimmer pants or jeans. Quince structured cardigan – I’ve talked A LOT about Quince sweaters, and this Jenni Kayne inspired version is really good. It’s a beautiful fit, and it’s a little weightier than some, making it feel like extra good quality. Quince cotton button front cardigan – When you want to wear something a little lighter, this cropped button front cardigan is ideal. It’s stylish, comfortable, and works all year long, depending on how you style it. Oh, and it’s $49.90! Nordstrom cashmere sweaters – This year, the quality on Nordstrom cashmere is incredible! You can get everything from the hoodie that goes with everything, to this gorgeous brushed cashmere cardigan to a classic crew or turtleneck. Tuckernuck classic button front cashmere crew – The other day I hopped on a Zoom call and me and my friend were both wearing this sweater. If you’re not in a hurry, get it monogrammed, such a fun detail! P.S. It’s 25% off through the weekend
#1 Sweater Edit: Fair Isle Pattern
Classics like Fair Isle, cable knits, and argyle styles are key to getting the countryside style look. This trending style is reminiscent of an English retreat in the Cotswolds 😉 Love this Frame cardigan, as well as this short sleeved version in pink.

#2 Ponchos and wraps
This might be one of my favorite sweater trends! Ponchos and capes look cool and elegant, and are very very stylish. Love this Rag & Bone one above, and Zara has some great options like this one. I recommend adding one or two to your wardrobe this season.

#3 New This Year: Brushed Cashmere
This season, ultra-soft, fuzzy cashmere sweaters are everywhere, and they feel so nice on! It started with designers like The Row and others, and now everyone seems to have a version in lots of pretty colors and styles, including the Nordstrom brand and J.Crew, which I think are so good. See below for some of my favorites.
Veronica Beard coat | Gucci scarf | Sweater | Earrings | Valentino bag | Mother jeans | Staud Wally boot
#4 Sweater Hoodies
Finding a hoodie or two in black, gray, camel or soft ivory will make it easy for you to throw together a cool, easy outfit. And, you’ll look a little more elevated by using these sophisticated, neutral colors. I just spotted this one at Nordstrom that I’m almost certain won’t last! More favorites below.
Zara jacket | Wool/cashmere hoodie | Mother skinny jeans | Riding boots | Vince plaid scarf | Amazon clutch
#5 Classic Crew Cardigans
This wardrobe staple is back, and this time around, it looks even more sophisticated than before. Try wearing it with looser trousers tucked in with a belt, or left open with a simple white tee underneath. Better yet, combine it with a skirt. See below for more faves.
Red coat | Cashmere crew | Jeans | Scarf | Boots | Bag | Earrings
#6 Scarf sweaters
Mango coat | Rag & Bone jeans | Amazon bag | Scarf sweater| Earrings | SW boots
#7 Stripes
French-inspired striped sweaters are a true classic, and they add a little interest to every outfit. This one by Lilysilks an all-time favorite, and so is this one with bell sleeves from Rag & Bone. Below are a few others that caught my eye.
Trench | Stripe sweater | Frame jeans | Boots | Amazon bag | Ring Concierge earrings | Eyewear
