What I’m Loving Right Now: Exclusive Picks & Outfit Ideas
There are so many things I want to share with you that sometimes it’s tricky to narrow it all down! For example, besides writing my heart out for this fun little blog, you’ll also find me in my closet getting outfit ideas, and posting on Instagram about items that don’t even make it to the So Susie website. So, today I’m rounding up some exclusive picks you may have missed, and showing you what I’m currently loving, from standout staples to little outfit-making gems.

I spend a lot of time doing “blog research,” which is really code for buying (and returning) pieces in order to find the very best items to share here on my website. Then, as I’m writing, I also make video clips to share on Instagram Reels. On this rack, I’m featuring a stylish fur-trim jacket from Zara, the coat (above) that is really great quality, a pretty floral skirt, and much more. Last October, I took a work trip to London, and among all the shopping and eating, I did a lot of “blog research.” It’s always so inspiring to see what everyone’s wearing! And, since the weather was cooler, the street style consisted mostly of jackets, scarves, boots and denim. Here’s an updated packing list in case you’re traveling to cooler climates this fall and winter, or just want a little outfit inspo for everyday outfits.

Anthropologie is looking amazing right now — I visit our local store weekly! It’s always full and newly merchandised, and I actually have a little routine when wandering around. First, I always look at their denim selection since they have so many petite options from favorite brands, like Paige, AGOLDE, Mother and Frame. Keep in mind, all of these styles are always available in regular sizes too. Then, I browse the dress selection, and this one and this one caught my eye. And, I never miss the home department! It’s boot season, and now’s the time to invest in a pair or two that you’ll wear all season long. A few of my recent purchases include this new Veronica Beard ankle boot in the color Dark Raisin, this knee boot by Manolo, and this lower heeled Anine Bing brown suede pair. The Jean Everyone Loves

I’ve gone on and on about these jeans, but they really do fit almost everyone! There are many versions available, including this super soft, stretchy, comfy blue wash (which is also available in petite sizes). This new black coated one is perfect for winter, paired with either cozy sweaters or pretty holiday tops. It’s only available in regular sizes, so I had mine hemmed. I also found this new dark wash one at Anthropologie which is super slimming, and is available in regular sizes and petite sizes.
