Trust Me: Your Summer Wardrobe Needs This One Specific Color
Several years ago, I was helping a good friend at Nordstrom. When we walked into the dressing room., the most beautiful bag was hanging on the hook! It was a creamy saddle brown caramel color, and it changed the way I think about this color. At the time, it was the “it” bag seen all over the streets of NYC during Fashion Week. And, I was so excited to share this special find with my friend. The Loewe Puzzle bag is still considered a classic — but it was the color that captured my heart. The beautiful outfits that were created around this gorgeous bag were so elevated and sophisticated, and since that day, I’ve always known how important this color is for everyone’s wardrobes.
Adding a touch of caramel makes your outfits look expensive. Caramel is the one color that works for ALL seasons. It compliments all other colors: black, white, gray, navy, chambray, pink, bright pink, tan, green … I think you get the idea! It’s sophisticated, elegant and timeless — a true classic. This time of year, one of the best things you can do is invest in a good, everyday summer sandal. You’ll wear it daily, and it it really is the luxe summer shoe that will replace everything else. These sandals should go with everything from denim shorts to dresses to skirts. Again, caramel is the one specific color that always works!

Caramel accessories are the finishing touch
Accessories complete every outfit, so definitely add a caramel-colored belt or a cool scarf to your accessory collection. This affordable Madewell belt is the perfect shade.
