Every morning, I make the “rounds” on the internet, scouring all my favorite websites looking for style inspiration to share with you! This week, I’m in Palm Springs for spring break with my youngest, and while he sleeps in, I sneak out in search of coffee and play on my iPad 😉 Sometimes I don’t find anything, and then sometimes — like yesterday — I totally score!

Cord necklaces are back, and they make a statement with every kind of outfit! I’ve noticed there are many price point options, from this one by Heaven Mayhem to this super chic designer one. Below are a few others that have caught my eye recently.

Doen is an LA brand that is having a moment! WWW called it “the brand of last summer,” and this season we’ll see even more cute pieces. The brand just landed at Nordstrom, and the other day my old co-worker said everyone who tried it on bought it. A good sign for those of us buying online! 04. Instant Upgrade: Switch to a Shorter Trench Jacket

Cropped trench jackets are all over Instagram, and it’s versatile and really easy to style. It works perfectly with your favorite denim, including a black wash. And when the weather warms up, try pairing a shorter trench with white denim or even a white skirt — so chic! Every year around this time, many of us start switching out our bags for something a little lighter. In past seasons, I’ve always recommended a straw/raffia bag since they go with literally everything, and I’m still standing by that. But, if you want to switch things up, try a woven bag like this. Last year, I had my eye on this one at Shopbop, but when I was ready to hit the buy button it was gone. This year I’m going to try again. Below are a few others I’m considering.

The flip flop
Last summer while in Positano, I purchased these simple Havaianas with the gold logo, and wore them for the rest of the trip. This season, I’m noticing square toed styles and wedge styles like these. Try them out — you’ll wear them all the time!
