The Must-Have Jacket Everyone is Buzzing About!
The barn jacket is back, and this time around, it has been elevated to the must-have jacket to buy this fall. According to British Vogue, “When Miuccia Prada proposes a new idea on the runway, the world listens, and for spring/summer 2024, the designer introduced barn jackets as the outerwear style to covet.” It’s always exciting to find a new trend that’s both practical and stylish, and the timing is perfect. There are options at all price points, and I highly recommend finding one you love and grabbing it … ASAP!
Today’s post is a barn jacket roundup. Just yesterday, after doing a little “blog research,” I landed on this black Barbour one, and quickly added it to my cart. Then, hours later, this new J.Crew version landed on my doorstep. That’s right, I purchased TWO barn jackets (which I rarely do), and I’m certain I’ll be wearing them all season long! As another option, this utility style jacket has been long favored by the royals who often wear them while vacationing in the British countryside. It’s typically made of canvas or waxed cotton, and usually has a contrast collar.
