The August Drop: 6 Pieces You Need Now!
This week, my Nordstrom Stylist friends and I announced our August “N6 Drop.” This is a monthly drop of six of our favorite, best-selling items. We selected our favorite bomber jacket and jeans, a cool belt, the prettiest blouse, and the bags and shoes you’re about to see everywhere come fall! These pieces are well-priced and go with everything. Today’s post is about making good, solid, everyday outfits for fall, and six pieces that will help you put them all together. They’re stylish, very wearable, and I’m sure you’ll love them. Keep reading to see what they are, and of course, how to style them!
But first … if you’re new around here, I thought I’d share more about the monthly drops and how they came to be. My “Nordstrom 6” friends and I found each other during the early days of quarantine, and instantly bonded. We are all Nordstrom stylists (or former Nordstrom stylists) who started sharing weekly content with you. Our goal was to make shopping both fun and inspiring during that challenging time. Well, four years later, we’re still at it! And, between daily texts and FT calls, we plan our drops, which we share at the beginning of every month. I hope you enjoy them!

#2 Frame Gillian blouse
Hands down, this is an all time favorite blouse! The puff sleeve detail is feminine and pretty, and it looks nice with denim or trousers. I always have a black blouse on hand, and the Gillian is my pick. And, if you love leopard print as much as I do, this is a great option.

#3 Red accessories
Red is shaping up to be the color of the season again this fall! There are many shades of red to choose from, and whether you add a trendy bag or a cool accessory, this classic color will update your wardrobe just like that!

#4 Paige denim
Paige is a favorite denim brand, and I’ve found pretty much everyone can find a style they love. Right now, there are several styles that are super stylish, and they happen to also be best-sellers. Pro-tip — best-sellers are usually a great option to try when purchasing denim online. Here’s a fit guide:
