Packing Tip: Don’t Leave Home Without This One Essential!
Lately, I’ve been here there and everywhere, and loving every minute of it! What a fun little stage of life; and as long as there’s really good WiFi and morning coffee, everything is great 😉 I just wrapped up five days in Nashville with a group of college friends, and had the best time ever. We reminisced, took a line dancing lesson, and of course, laughed a lot. I even managed to set my phone aside for a few days (ish). We all indulged in a little “self-care,” including listening to live Bluegrass, eating local fried food, and sipping whiskey (!!). I’m so so glad I went!
While it was 80 degrees during one of the days in Nashville, it was freezing the rest of the time. Even when I was in Palm Springs and Palm Beach, I was cold at some point. This is why I’m sharing this important packing tip: don’t leave home without this one essential! A lightweight, crewneck cashmere sweater is a must if you’re traveling anytime soon. This wardrobe essential is super versatile, and no matter where you’re going, it deserves a spot in your suitcase. Thank goodness I had it with me in LA a couple of weeks ago, because I wore it every day. No joke. Whether it was alone, over a tank top, or tied around my shoulders (adding extra warmth like a scarf), having a color or two is a must!
Today’s post gives you several outfit ideas for your next trip. I’m sharing a travel outfit, and the sweater you should add in three colors … ASAP! Trust me on this one, you’ll wear it all the time. But first, here’s the sweater everyone should own
As I mentioned above, a simple cashmere lightweight sweater is a closet staple everyone should own. I recommend a soft ivory, camel, black, and light gray. These are classic colors that are always in style, and work with pretty much every outfit. Whether you’re using it as a scarf or actually wearing it, I’m positive it will come in handy on any trip you take. I love the cashmere sweaters by Quince, they’re good quality and affordable. J.Crew has this one, and I recently add a pretty light green color, which is a great option if you’re going to a warmer climate.
