The “IT” List: What’s New and Now

Welcome to the “IT” List, What’s New and Now! There’s something so exciting about the beginning of a new season — it feels vibrant and full of promise, with brighter weather and longer days ahead. This week, I’ve been staying at The Colony in Palm Beach, and the people watching and outfit inspo is everywhere! It’s like a sneak peak into what we’ll be wearing for Spring/Summer 2024, and it inspired me to create an “IT” List so we all have an idea of things to come. I hope you like it 🤍

I was lucky to visit the Kips Bay Decorator Show House, which happened to open to the public the day I arrived in Palm Beach. It has been on my bucket list since I first read about it, and I was thrilled to visit the stunning property located in West Palm Beach. The interior design was next level, and so was the outfit spotting! It’s the nation’s leading design event each year, and I’ll definitely be sharing more about this in the coming weeks.

Today’s post is about everything that made my “IT” list, along with outfit ideas and inspo for the coming season. Most mornings, you’ll find me scouring all my favorite fashion resources in order to get you the best report of what’s out there. ALC dress – Love this new green color, and the Renzo is a best-selling style that looks good on almost everyone

Michele Watch – I recently read that timepieces are making a comeback, and though we all have iPhones to tell us what time it is, how lovely to have a pretty watch that’s part of your jewelry collection!

Bottega Veneta bag – I’d been eyeing this bag for some time, so I used all my Nordstrom Notes and made the splurge. It’s really beautiful, and kind of an “it” bag at the moment

Rails trench – Lately I’ve been seeing shorter trench coats everywhere. They look really chic with denim or even a slim fitting skirt

Tennis bracelet – Tennis anything is having a moment, and right now tennis bracelets and necklaces are THE pieces to mix in to your jewelry collection. Timeless and current at the same time

Tom Ford fragrance – Tom Ford makes sexy fragrances, and anything with vanilla is so good, it just makes you feel warm 🙂

Jacquemus bag – This bag was featured in their Spring 2024 Runway show, and is a new style for the brand. Look at the color and the unique ring handle

Isabel Marant sweatshirt – This sweatshirt is a cool piece to wear with everything from denim to a tennis skirt to a slim longer black skirt

Zimmermann Dress – I can’t think of a more beautiful line of dresses, and it’s a brand I’m always checking to see what’s new. I’ve seen many women wearing beautiful Zimmermann dresses while on vacation in Palm Beach

Gucci Slingback – How pretty is this new denim sandal? I spotted it the other day while shopping in PB, and immediately tried it on. The heel height is perfect. Denim shoes are having a moment as we head into spring 2024!

 

What’s new: Varley

The UK based brand Varley is so good, and everyone I know who’s purchased Varley pieces will attest. I always look for new arrivals, and this blue set caught eye. When Nordstrom gets a new shipment, the good pieces fly out the door. So, don’t wait — these are popular!

Outfit spotting in Palm Beach is always interesting, and it gives you a little sneak peak into S/S 2024 trends! Of course, Palm Beach has its own style, and Farm Rio and Zimmermann capture the flavor perfectly. I’ve noticed Valentino everywhere — cute bags and sandals like what you see on the above board. At the beach, just down the road from The Colony Hotel, the chairs and umbrellas were by the brand Business And Pleasure Co, which has been on my radar for some time. I also spied the Palm Beach “uniform” which consists of bright pretty dresses, straw hats, raffia bags and cute sandals. And, this outfit works no matter where you’re going this spring and summer.

 

Shades of blue

Pretty shades of blue are everywhere this season, and here are a few things that have caught my eye lately!

I’ve been seeing cropped trench coats popping up, and they’re quite flattering with skirts and denim
