A few years ago, my TV producer friend Tammy asked me if I’d like to do a holiday segment on the AM Northwest Morning Show here in Portland. Of course, I immediately said yes! Then she said, “can you do it on gifts under $50?” “Absolutely!” I replied. But, secretly, I was wondering if I could come through with enough gift ideas to meet my high standards 😂

Well, that segment (and all the ensuing posts I wrote featuring the gift suggestions) was very popular … so I’m at it again this year! For the last few weeks, I’ve been carefully selecting special gifts that your loved ones are sure to appreciate and enjoy. So, take a look at these amazing 15 gifts under $50. #2 – Several years ago, my English family gifted me with a Molton Brown set. The scents are lovely, and this set is a great value

#3 – I have this candle everywhere in my house. It smells really similar to the Le Labo Santal 26 candle

#4 – These two charms — the heart and butterfly from Anthropologie — are very similar to Foundrae charms, but at a fraction of the price. The chain is sold separately, which you can see here

When I was in my early 20’s, a dear friend gifted me coffee table books for every little occasion. So, you can imagine all these years later, I have a nice collection of books! Recently, I added Paris Chic and French Riviera to my book collection after a fun trip to France this past summer. And, the Italy book will make you feel like you’re temporarily transported to the Amalfi Coast. Finally, if you love beautiful interior design, this book by Mark Sikes is a personal favorite.
