I have a pretty fun job, and absolutely love what I do for a living: making great outfits for all of you! Although I’ve been a retail girl my entire life, “blog research” is still quite fascinating to me. After all, it’s kind of like the thrill of the hunt. And, as you might imagine, sometimes I don’t find things I’m super excited about. But sometimes, like during these past few weeks, I get inspired and can’t wait to share 😊 And, since I’m on the J.Crew website pretty much every day, I always have a long list of things to show you!
These days I get really excited about new arrivals at J.Crew. I often find myself mixing a piece or two from J.Crew with something I already own, and putting together a great outfit. And, the brand is on fire thanks to Olympia, the super cool lead designer. It’s easy to get dressed for any occasion, whether it’s casual, elevated or for going out. As I scrolled their website, I saw item after item that I’m certain will sell out.

I always find dresses I love at J.Crew, and this new tweed one went straight into my cart since I missed out awhile back. A classic slip dress is one of the best dresses to try, and you can’t go wrong with either this classic black slip dress or this V-neck style. The dresses below are SO good, I bet you’ll wear them all year long.
The coat shop

The coat shop at J.Crew is SO good, and every year the wool styles sell out! I love this best-selling shorter wool coat, this trench – both long and short are my personal favorites, along with this Italian boiled wool coat.
Cozy sweaters

I’m always looking for new sweaters that aren’t too thick, and this pink one caught my eye. The bell sleeves and slightly cropped style give it a fresh update. It also comes in a striped version here. If you love cashmere, the J.Crew cashmere shop (for both men and women) is so good, and over the years I’ve tried many of them. This striped one was part of my packing list to England, and I also love this boxy cardigan. For a basic layering piece, you can’t go wrong with the basic crew, it layers under everything!

The accessories are amazing this season, and many of the bags remind me of luxe designer pieces. I adore all of the ones on this board. When it comes to jewelry, I love mixing in a few pieces with my personal collection of higher end pieces. The prices are so good, you can’t go wrong with any piece you fall in love with.
Slip skirts
J.Crew cashmere sweater | Slip skirt
This slip skirt is a favorite, and it comes in a longer length as well. I love it paired back to a cozy sweater, and it makes a great outfit combo to wear to so many events. Pair it with a strappy sandal, sneaker, or your favorite tall boot. It’s one of the most versatile pieces to add to your closet.

This past year I started trying J.Crew denim after spotting many elevated styles available in petite sizing. Below are some of my favorites I’ve personally tried!
Cardigan jackets
I can’t say enough about J.Crew cardigans. This is usually one of the first categories I look at! The Juliette cardigan is one I recommend and wear all the time (it runs quite big so size down). Also just picked up this new cashmere cardigan. These are both pieces you’ll wear for years to come. Don’t save them for a special occasion — wear them every day!
