7 Affordable Items I Wear That Look Expensive
I love working on articles with Who What Wear, and you can imagine how honored I am when asked for my “advice” on fashion and styles. My partnership with WWW is over three years old now, and I continue to be extremely proud to be affiliated with them. Recently, my friend and Senior Editor Bobby Schuessler asked me which affordable items I buy because they look expensive. Well, that’s easy, since I recently wrote about some favorites in this post! I also have an “Under $100” collection in the ShopLTK app that I add to regularly. You can read the article here.
After sorting through my closet over the past couple of weeks, I’ve zeroed in on which affordable items I wear that look expensive, and I’m excited to share them with you. You’ll notice that the items are ones I mention regularly. For example, J.Crew jewelry that is looking SO good, the color camel that always reads “elevated,” and easy dresses that are perfect for this time of year. Remember to focus on the items you truly love and feel good in! In my opinion, it’s actually better to have fewer pieces — this makes getting dressed much much easier.
P.S. Today’s post is a recap from my latest WWW article. Remember, when the article first appears in WWW, the clothing selections are made by Bobby and his team (he also chooses the title). But, when I recap the article, the items shared are MY picks! I hope you like them 😊

1. Easy Dresses

Stripe dress | Tory Burch bucket bag | Schutz sandals | Brinker & Eliza bracelet
This stylish Steve Madden dress is only $79, but it looks like a more expensive version. And, stripes are always in style. This type of dress is perfect as we head into warmer weather.
2. J.Crew Jewelry

$88 Spanx top | White pants | Blazer | YSL tote | L’Agence sandals | Bracelet cuff
Right now, the jewelry at J.Crew is right on point—and it looks way more expensive than it actually is. I’m especially loving their bracelets, like the silver statement cuff and the tennis bracelet, as well as the starfish cuff.
3. Camel … anything!

J.Crew sweater tank | Fidelity denim | L’Agence sandals
The color camel always makes your outfit look more expensive, and you can find a camel-colored piece any time of year. I love this sweater tank, perfect for summer. Camel looks great when paired with white, écru, or gray denim. Classic!
4. Blazer that looks expensive 😉

Open Edit blazer | Marc Jacobs Tote | Bracelet This blazer is an amazing value for a cool, oversized blazer that’s both versatile and perfect for this time of year. And it’s on sale for under $50!
5. Neutral Shoes and Accessories

Eyelet dress, similar | Denim jacket | Sandals | Straw tote, similar
Great neutral accessories, like shoes and handbags, help elevate your outfits. You might be surprised to know that the bag and shoes I’m wearing in the photo above are both $45! They look expensive, but they’re actually quite affordable.
6. Levi’s Jeans

Veronica Beard top | Levi’s jeans
We all love a good pair of classic Levi’s! They’re so chic and reasonably-priced and make many stylish spring and summer outfits. You’ll wear them for years to come since they never go out of style.
7. Denim Jackets

$79 Graphic tee | Denim jacket | Jeans | Dolce Vita sandals This Levi’s denim jacket for $98 is SO good! I love the wash on this one, and it’s perfectly oversized too. Trust me, you’ll wear it with everything this spring! I grab mine multiple times a week.
