These are the 7 items everyone wants right now
I love following retail trends, and it’s fascinating to see which items are selling and what everyone wants! Writing this fun little blog reminds me of when I was a Nordstrom buyer, analyzing trends and making sure what arrived in store was what clients were looking for. Surprisingly, I’m doing the same thing now 😌 It’s exciting to make new discoveries while doing “blog research” in the person, and the best part is sharing it with all of you. I know I say this a lot, but I’m really grateful you’re here!
Today’s post is about the 7 items everyone wants right now. These are best-sellers at the moment: everything from super stylish button-front shirts to easy denim shorts to the hottest jean that keeps selling out. And, they’re all available at Nordstrom. #1 The jean everyone is buying
Since denim is the backbone of our wardrobes, it’s important to have several well-fitting, stylish pairs. Hear me out on this one: you don’t need a ton of jeans — just a few that you’ll wear all the time. And, if you want to add a new style that EVERYONE is loving right now, it’s this one. Yep, I got the inside scoop today from a trusted Nordstrom stylist friend that pretty much everyone who tries this jean on buys it. This is why I also bought it 😉 But don’t wait … it keeps selling out!

#2 Two denim shorts that fit almost everybody
I’ve been talking about AGOLDE Parker denim shorts for years — they’re always top sellers. They’re a bit looser, come in a little longer length, and are just perfect for summer. And, just today, I heard these shorts are equally as good as (and similar to) the jeans above. Apparently, everyone who tries them on buys them immediately.
#3 Casual dresses are key
There’s a shortage of casual dresses in my local store, but I found plenty of good ones on Nordstrom.com. Right now, having several comfy, casual dresses for everyday wear makes running out the door SO much easier! Today, I wore this shirt dress by Frank & Eileen, and talk about comfortable — it’s the best material. There’s also this casual dress by Rails, and this fun green one by Michael Stars.

#4 Button-front shirts are a hot item rn
The slightly oversized button-front shirt trend continues! The best-selling Kayla shirt is still a favorite, and so is this striped one by Rag & Bone. Another favorite brand everyone loves: Frank & Eileen. Look at this Joedy superfine shirt. I recommend wearing these types of shirts buttoned with slim white jeans, or like a jacket — open, with a slim fitting tank under. Add your favorite jeans or shorts and you’ve got instant style.
#5 White basics are always at the top of the list
Nothing feels more like summer than a clean palette of all-white essentials! Whether it’s a simple white shirt or a head-to-toe white outfit, you can’t go wrong with this classic summer color. Since many of us are buying more thoughtfully these days, we want to make sure the pieces we do purchase have longevity and can be worn multiple ways. White never, ever goes out of style!
What to add: Basic tanks and tees, white denim, pretty white tops and white sneakers
#6 Cute tops that go with jeans
This is another category everyone wants! We all want casual, fun tops like this Rails one. This Veronica Beard striped top is perfect with denim. And, this Frame linen style has been a favorite, in particular, this green striped one.

#7 Silver jewelry under $200
The newest jewelry trend is silver, and I might be ready for the change. While I can’t imagine not wearing my beautiful gold jewelry, having a few silver pieces to with which to mix things up is an easy way to up your jewelry game. Check out some of my favorites below.
